My college has a terrible blocking system that not only blocks things for bizarre and uncomfortable reasons, but also blocks searching for video game words. This causes problems if a video game associated collection of words is within another word, such as in the case of a dude who tried to look up Panasonic cameras and got his whole internet shut down because sonic is in it.

Earlier in the school year, the computers had a really-easy-to-get-through blocking system for certain sites like youtube.com, all you needed to do was reload the page multiple times and it would give you access to the site. I've tried to go on youtube.com recently and now it's impossible to get through, looks like the school district found out about it, welp.
You could try running it through google translate. Just set it to translate from spanish to english and put the link in there and it might work.
I don't think you can open YoutTube on Google Translate. Also, I never tried it.

Actually, what's the point of blocking YouTube? My school doesn't block it, even we sometimes got a noisy library because of it.
Well, for one there's all kinds of, ah, unsavory things on youtube that aren't in any way school appropriate. Not just like…uh….the “p” word (nervously looks around for scratchstappo), but other kinds of stuff, like Filthy Frank, which really shouldn't be in schools. And infinite amounts of videogame footage that kids can watch instead of doing their work.

Do you mean, “can you find one on youtube at your school?”, or do you mean “Do minecraft videos exist on youtube?”

Um…. Yes. Of course you can. Minecraft let's plays are some of the most popular gaming videos out there. Minecraft is one of the most successful games ever. Of course there's video of it on YouTube.
EDIT nevermind thought this was a different person since the snip confused me.

What's so noteworthy about someone correctly naming their math folder?

My school computers are parental controlled or filtered by this program called securly and its so easy to bypass because all of the proxy servers you can use.But it gotten on my nerves months ago whenever your just searching something like “world war 1”there is a screen that pops up saying that I have log in with my email and password and it constantly bugs me with that if I don't have a vpn server enabled. (There's one I really recommend which is called SetupVPN which on the chrome store)

And all the world over, each nation's the same,
They've simply no notion of playing the game.
They argue with umpires, they cheer when they've won,
And they practice beforehand, which ruins the fun!

Whenever I got to go on the school computers (which were old Dells and iMac G3s) in elementary, I would just mess around with Kid Pix and Math Blaster. Or play Oregon Trail. I remember those iMac G3s lasting a long time for some reason.

I had three days with my VPN, and then I woke up this morning to find that overnight, one of the tech administrators had not only disabled it (understandable, I am breaking a rule by having it) but also my adblocker (!), my “Press Back to Backspace” extension (!!!), and my completely harmless Totoro Google Chrome theme (?!?!). I am now heated and writing an opinion piece for the school newspaper on how ridiculous all the filters and lockdowns on our computers are.

do what makes you happy.

So they updated the stuff on our computers over the summer so that we can't look up copyrighted images or something. I searched “sea of thieves memes” and there was not a single meme about sea of thieves, and near the top of the images it said “licensed for reuse with modification”, and I can't change it to anything else. Which fething sucks since I can see it creating a whole lot more headaches beyond searching for memes. No videogame pictures except those licensed for reuse with modification by the company. Very little 40k stuff available. This is probably the worst thing they could've done. So many kids are gonna be * at that.

Our school just blocks game sites that aren’t unblocked, all of YouTube and a few others. Good thing they allow themes and games on our chromebooks (long live my Terraria theme and my wolf new tab theme)

I have a lot of digital classes this year so I will be able to learn more about the computers at my school, so far I've found that they finally upgraded seemingly all of the computers to windows 10 (they were originally windows 7), the science classes got fancy new chromebooks with a touchscreen, i'll have to see what sites they have blocked because ive only checked out coolmathgames because i just automatically go there after i finish my work, its not blocked thankfully
