Why does scratch feature old things?

Sometimes peoples Rotting old projects, get featured even, when they are inpossible, Like the story about a girl with a ballon please help me to figure out why they do this.

The scratch team have studio in which people suggest projects to be featured. The team then looks at the suggested projects and then pick ones that they feel fit their criteria.
Also, if you want to make a signature, go to the bottom of the forums and look for a tab that says “change your signature”.

Basically, due to the featured system mostly being requests from other scratchers, and the rules for what should be featured mostly focusing on project content, older projects can get featured.

There is no limit to how old a project can be to be featured. If the ST see the project in the Propose Projects to be Featured studio and decide to feature it, then it's featured.
