Ooh boy, this is my TALENT! I love worldbuilding so much, even the really dull bits.

“In the year 145RE, Momoztli, known as “The Firestarter” to the Tecoixin, left Xihunantli and discovered Yancunantli, where the Tecoixin would emigrate to in 167RE to escape lowering temperatures. The colonists split into three groups, In Tletl, In Atl and In Ekajati. Over the next 500 years, the groups would war against each other until In Atl conquered most of Yancunantli. In 756RE, the Supreme Emperor of In Atl, Ehecatl, died, leading to the collapse of In Atl. Warlords, such as such as Izel and Iuitl, reigned over most of Yancunantli, with minor City States and Cults ruling the south-western part of the island.”

Current worldbuilding project. I started this in 2016, and I've been adding to it since. This is the first 1500 years of a small island named Yancunantli, in the equatorial regions of Zemira. This is just before humans arrive on the island, which is when everything starts to fall apart (again).
