In Scratch Projects, if you have a bad word in audio, can you just censor it out with censor beep?

If yes, maybe bad words are allowed in Scratch, but you have to censor it so nobody finds out.
If no, I might have to refrain using bad words in my projects

Swear words should never be used in projects, but if you completely remove it with a censor that should be fine

You can, but it still might be reported. If it isn't completely blocked out though, it can still break the community guidelines.

If you're using a song with Swear Words, try finding a clean version.
If there's a clean version of anything that has swear words, use that instead.
I would only suggest using censors as a last resort if you're absolutely determined to make a project with that audio and there's no clean versions.

Why not? Swear words can be incredibly descriptive. One can paint a vivid image in one's mind. I think they're overused but as you get older I think I use them for dramatic effect. Not overuse though. Also they are commonly known unlike technical terms. Also because swear words are rightly banned for children and that can make them a sense of rebellion. One can transpose this to flirtation.

You shouldn't be using them because this is a kids site.

Some swear words are… some 8 year olds just don’t need to know the meaning of some words.

It would be better to replace the word with an appropriate word (copy and paste audio). Beeping out a word could leave a alert in your messages.

You can remove the swear word or replace it with an appropiate word that means the same or similar. You can use a clean version of the audio which you can find on Youtube and convert it into a .wav file. Hope I helped

If your song has a swear in it, see if you can find a clean version. If not, just mute the words out- beeping can hint that there was a bad word.

You can simply cut out the bad word by highlighting the part where the word is said and either pressing “cut” or “silence”.
I don't recommend bleeping out a bad word or replacing it with any sound effects, it might make it too obvious there was a swear word there.

You need to replace it with a 1000 Hz sine wave.
