Text box layers over dropdowns in forums

This huge text box I'm writing in. Yeah, that. Anyway, when it has been clicked on once, it always layers over the dropdown boxes above. This means that we can't click to use formatting. That's all.
My browser / operating system: Windows NT 10.0, Chrome 65.0.3325.181, Flash 29.0 (release 0)
