I am making a scratch mod of 1.4 called magic, and I don't know how to make new categories. Could I have some help?

This is the guide they're talking about. I haven't used it (I used another one) but I'm pretty sure if it works. If it doesn't there's always the one I used. Hope this helps!

O.K. first things first, are you using the source code. If you want to make a scratch mod, it is greatly advisable to find a copy of the scratch 1.4 source code (jsut ask around the forums I'm sure someone has a copy). This contains a different image file and a few other things. The image file is what makes scratch do what it does, the .exe jsut runs it (if you're on windows, I don't know what happens on mac). You put the files from teh source code folder in the folder of scratch that you already have, replacing the appropriate files. That is the first step. Please say if this doesn't make a sense and I'll see if I can find/get a copy and I'll do it for you. But it's better if you can do it yourself.

What don't you understand about the guide that poewrpoint56 linked to. Make sure that you follow it exactly and it'll be fine. Trust me I've used it before.
