I think that a lot of the characters will die in Infinity War, which is where it'll end. But the next untitled Avengers movie will be called something like either Avengers: Into the Multiverse or Avengers: Travel Through Time. I know that those are lame ideas of mine for the title, but the concept is that the remaining characters will go into the multiverse or go back in time to resurrect the dead characters and defeat Thanos. The full Infinity Gauntlet will then be banished to a different universe since it can't do anything in other universes.

That is true. I don't think that the Marvel Cinematic Universe will have that happen, however. After all, the comics are just a very loose basis for the movies. Just remember the Mandarin in Iron Man 3.

If there was a Marvel time travel movie I think Kang should be the villain. After all, Fantastic Four characters are now allowed to appear in the MCU (Super Skrull main villain of Captain Marvel or else)
