Is anyone else dreading Scratch 3.0?
I'm really not looking forward to Scratch 3.0. I've got used to the current version, and I just don't want it to change…

It'll take some getting used to, but eventually it'll seem normal. I think everyone will come to love it
(personally I'm dreading the flip in the stage and editors)

I'm dreading the bigger blocks and the fact that pen's been moved to the extension category… (WHY OH WHY ST?!?!? NOW I NEED TO CLICK AN EXTRA TIMEEE…)

I'm not really looking forward to the costume editor, but I should get used to it (i'll be using medibang paint more anyway). The stage flip i'll probably get used to. If not I can always download the 2.0 editor.

For me it's a double edged sword. On one hand the new editor looks terrible with how the stage moved and the “updated” blocks but on the other hand my friend will be able to join Scratch as they only have a tablet.

For New Scratchers, difficult blocks are moved to extension.
For tablets users, blocks are large.
You can still use 2.0 offline editor

I just dont like how huge the blocks are, and the stage switching to the right.

Does anyone actually know why they moved the stage to the right? It doesn't help new users, and it confuses the Scratch 2.0 users

I think it's just a stylistic choice, plus I think the stage has moved around quite a bit throughout the years…I just dont like how huge the blocks are, and the stage switching to the right.

Am I the only person looking forward to it?
Yes, I'm actually looking forward to it.
I don't mind about how the stage was flipped (I might actually prefer it that way) and I actually like the new look of the blocks. It makes it seem less…90's? (am I also the only person who thinks the current interface looks really 90's?)
It will take some getting used to, but there are tons of blocks I'm looking forward to getting, like the Go To Back block and the new features in the sound editor (I cannot tell you how much I've needed the Fast editing feature).

It's not the awful block padding or terrible unneeded stage flipping I'm worried about, it's that the Scratch Team has seemingly gone quiet on it, and the protest megathread in Suggestions has not been considered or acknowledged by the Scratch Team at all.
Oh well. Whatever makes Google give you more money, I guess.

I’m honestly looking forward to it. I don’t mind the block padding, and being someone who is almost always on iPad it’s the only way I will actually be able to pick up the blocks. Also, an undo button will save my life.

I'm looking forward to it, but there may be a problem with playing a game that requires arrow keys when you are on a device that doesn't have arrow keys. There should be a joystick or something similar to that.

I'm exited for the all new blocks they are adding, but they are waaaaaaaaaay to fat.
I hope the new editor lay-out will not be too drastic of a change, and that it will get comfortable quickly.
Woah, i'm using big words today.

I'm neutral on the whole thing but I'm looking forward to the concept of change.

The blocks may need to go on a diet and I'm not used to the stage being on the right.

Well, 3.0 means I'll actually share projects, because most of the time I'm on an iPod touch or iPad.
