Adding LAYERS and ONION SKIN
Uhhh… Whats Onion Skin? When animating, you draw sprites. An onion skin is a faint layer of the previous sprite you drew, thus helping you to draw the second sprite easier!
Hope it helped!- FuturePr0

Adding LAYERS and ONION SKIN
I really like to animate, but I find it quite hard without the use of layers, or onion skin. I trust that most of you know what that is, soThe thing is though there is already a ‘layers’ block, however I get what your trying to say . And I agree. There should be like drawing layers instead of moving them behind sprites.
I won't explain them. For us artists of SCRATCH, Layers would be a useful addition so instead of manually erasing sketches, and “skeletons” (as I call it) we could just delete a layer, or hide it. Onion skin, is what I would rather have though. For me, animating here is like, 1. Copy costume, 2. Make some changes for the animation and then erase EVERYTHING else. With onion skin we could just get a whole, blank 2nd costume and trace, without erasing anything.
If there are these amazing scripts, that can make things move, float, work, then I'm sure you can fit in some layers, or at the least onion skin.
I'd like to thank anyone who took the time to read this, and even more thanks if this really happens in the next few updates.
