Urge your local lawmakers to Restore Net Neutrality!
Not at all true, the repeal of net neutrality hasn't even gone into effect and ISPs that promised not to block or throttle are already trying to block and throttle as much as they possibly can. And no, ISPs are not going to stop at malicious traffic, they are going to block and throttle their competitors and anyone who speaks out against them. Net neutrality is a necessity to stop ISPs from abusing consumers.Net neutrality is pointless - it actually worsened internet quality - the ISPs couldn't block out or throttle malicious traffic or non-time-sensitive traffic like they will be able to now, which will mean those of us who stream will get better streaming, those of us downloading will get better downloading, and so on.5. move to canadaNet neutrality is nothing big anymore.its something very big, just it hasn't been repealed yet. i came up with a set of options to survive without internet:
1. save the internet
2. move to the european continent
3. move to the asian continent
4. live without the internet not an option
6. vote out politicians not supporting the CRA resolution
7. explode
7. survive without internet
9. publicly shame congressmen not supporting net neutrality

That's not true - they abuse their consumers and their consumers leave them, the company goes bankrupt, and dies. Not really. We've seen time and time again that companies can do annoying/bad things and no one will drop them- why do you think EA is still such a big gaming company despite all the hate they get?

EA reacts to their haters and fixes the problems typically. Also, the internet is more important to most people than games - especcially when games require internet. That's not true - they abuse their consumers and their consumers leave them, the company goes bankrupt, and dies. Not really. Well we will just have to wait until the next problem with net neutrality.Net neutrality is pointless - it actually worsened internet quality - the ISPs couldn't block out or throttle malicious traffic or non-time-sensitive traffic like they will be able to now, which will mean those of us who stream will get better streaming, those of us downloading will get better downloading, and so on.5. move to canadaNet neutrality is nothing big anymore.its something very big, just it hasn't been repealed yet. i came up with a set of options to survive without internet:

EA reacts to their haters and fixes the problems typicallyI was more on about their reliance on paid-for extra content which everyone hates but continues to put up with. Plus they were just an example, there's lots of other examples of bad companies people still continue out of brand loyalty or just lack of an alternative.
Also, the internet is more important to most people than games - especcially when games require internet.Hence why people would put up with it more- it's harder to drop something if you're reliant on it for most of the things you do. Especially as the internet is a bit of a utility these days, people just generally seem to put up with bad deals for lack of an alternative, as clearly shown with gas prices in the UK which get bad enough that old people are dying yet no-one's really protesting them or dropping the companies. Plus a lot of these companies are smart: they'll implement these things slowly so we get used to the new changes as being “just how it is” before they add any more. Plus you can see in countries that don't have new neutrality that companies happily do a lot of the stuff we're concerned about and have been for a while and they're still going strong.

I honestly cannot believe my post was removed as I was stating fact, but again, many of you have absolutely no idea what you're talking about and are just regarding everything you've heard from the internet. Please do research before trying to make valid arguments.

Your last paragraph by the way implies the companies own the land the networks they run are on - often times, the cable they run is on civilian or city property, thus the networks are open to seizure if they turn abusive.EA reacts to their haters and fixes the problems typicallyI was more on about their reliance on paid-for extra content which everyone hates but continues to put up with. Lets just cause public outcry for even the smallest change then. Net neutrality also hurts small businesses and helps large companies stay in power. What you think net neutrality is doing is exactly what the ISPs are going to be getting away with now that it's going to be repealed soon. If people are starting their own ISPs, then it does hurt small businesses to an extent. But it's hard to get one, and ISPs are most likely the only businesses that are affected under net neutrality protections.
