Flash player crashes when loading a project.

My browser / operating system: ChromeOS 10323.62.0, Chrome 65.0.3325.184, No Flash version detected

I don't know if this is flash outdated, but every time i run a project flash crashes. I don't know why

Note: By crash, I mean when I enable Adobe Flash the tab loads for 30 seconds and becomes unresponsive forever. This is a managed school chromebook, but I am positive there are no polocies set against flash player (I checked chrome://policy)

You should use Windows, MacOS, or Linux instead of ChromeOS

Actually, I do have flash, I can open anything else except for Scratch projects.

Plus, I've checked chrome: //components and it clearly says flash is updated, so I don't know whats wrong.

Enable flash for Scratch's website. It's disabled on chrome by default.

Ive done that too. When I enable flash, the site crashes and I have to re-enable it.

That's your issue. Reinstall flash.

Chrome OS isn't bad: My browser / operating system: ChromeOS 10323.62.0, Chrome 65.0.3325.184, Flash 29.0 (release 0)

On Chrome OS, Flash is installed by default. There is no way to reinstall it until the “user-panel” displays “Restart computer to update Adobe Flash.” I use chromebooks on a regular basis, perhaps you don't have enough storage available. Flash used to crash a lot for me too, until I cleared out a bunch of unnecessary files. Now it works fine, try moving extra things into your drive.

It's not easy for an average user to install an OS, never mind install an OS on a computer running ChromeOS.

I finally found a solution! All I did was go to task manager and restart shockwave flash, and it worked! :D

That's great! As the topic is resolved, don't forget to close it.

That's not gonna work, ChromeOS doesn't have a Windows-like one, as it just closes out tabs.
