I know I'm late to the question about suiting in public, but I still want to speak on it. I think it's okay if the suiter is handling it well. Perhaps just walking around in character and only going up to people if their verbal and gestural cues make it clear they want to interact. Many children (and even some adults) are afraid of mascots, and that needs to be respected and acknowledged in public suiting. And if the person is obviously afraid, DON'T FORCE INTERACTION to help them try to “get over it”. It'll only make them feel uncomfortable. Also note some places have “no masks allowed” policies and/or might get suspicious of someone just strolling around in an animal suit, so it's best you call ahead of time. And about people giving them funny looks? That's the fun part of it! As long as no actual trouble arises from it, I'm all for public suiting as long as the owners of the facility/place being suited at is okay with it.

Am I the only one here who finds Majira Strawberry rather, uh… cringe-inducing? I've seen some uh, rather strange videos/ images involving him and they made me super uncomfortable… not to mention the headache-inducing neon colors…

I love the irony of a furry bashing other furries.

Meh, he's alright… Sometimes.

On the topic of Majira, he's gotten some of his previously untouched videos age-restricted… For some reason. I mean, I understand restricting the Tide Pod video, people actually almost killed themselves trying to eat laundry detergent (because America), but the CUDDLE VIDEO? It was literally just an infomercial for CUDDLES! It wasn't even age-restricted until multiple months later. He was a colaboration video with either Sunny Dingo or Nos Hyena, I forget who.

The cuddle stuff makes me queasy. I saw a picture of one case and he was, er,

touching the other innapropriately

Also, he posts a lot of paw (foot) stuff on his twitter. That's an instant nope for me.

It's more “because our horrendous internet challenge culture and the peer pressure of being cool on the internet” tbh.

Out of curiosity, has anyone heard of FWA (Furry Weekend Atlanta)? It's a furry con nearby where I live and it's in session right now (though, I won't be going… )

I have some anthropomorphic OCs, most of them are animal OCs who normally take place in short animations or music projects, while some of them are anthropomorphic inanimate objects(hats),you can see one of my hat OCs on my profile pic

I don't believe inanimate objects count.

Unless you're referring to anthropomorphic vehicles, I suppose

Yup, it's very rare to find appropriate anthrovehicle art.

I just went and saw “Ready Player One”, and there was this cat-thing, and when it showed up on screen, someone started yelling “FURRY! Y'ALL ARE FURRIES!”, and everyone in the theater just stared at the dude.

I heard about that scene from a friend and they said I'd love it. I was like nah fam cats aren't my thing. Apparently I favor anthropomorphic cats because my D&D character is a tabaxi. Logic I guess?
