Generic main cast for kids shows:

The athlete

The smart one

The energetic/candy obsessed one

The one that gives good advice

The shy one

Also sometimes the rich one and the funny one. I see this a lot…

Okay, seriously, am I one of the only older people on this forum? Because I’ve noticed a lot of talk about little kids’ programs lately.
I mean I’m 13 and I like MLP, it’s not a bad thing…

Normally what I discuss here is Pokémon though
It has a surprisingly popular fandom, yes.

Here’s a Disney cliche: AWESOME VILLAINS. AND THEY ALMOST ALWAYS DIE BY FALLING (Gaston, Mother Gothel…)
Boy, Disney has a lot of falling or falling related deaths now you mention it… I know it's because falling is a good death for keeping things PG while ensuring the villain is out of the way, but they really do use it way too much.
I have non-villainous examples of this trope! Want a list??

The list has exactly one cat on it. And its so ironic. So juicily ironic.

The ending of Ever Oasis (I haven't beaten the game yet, I was just accidentally exposed to spoilers on TV tropes).
I won't state exactly what I read, but I'll make hints to it (potential spoiler warning): The guide characters people like almost always die. Because only annoying and/or unlike able guide characters get to live, apparently.
Do Shakuro and Jamileh die?
Or Esna?

All the fantiscal elements of the world are unknown to the regular people of the world. e.g. In the Percy Jackson books most ordinary people are unaware of the fact that the Greek gods and goddesses they still have children with mortals creating demigods and all that stuff.

I find this cliche usually isn't bad enough to be major problem in a piece of media, but still.

Yeah that is what I referenced, it’s a common character group. Also it’s not just MLPEG, it’s MLP in general

MLPEG is every single high-school/middle-school cliche mashed into a TV series.

That's why MLP is better.

The horrible family vacation. Every show or book series uses this plot at some point. In said episode/book, one of the parents will say “Let's go on a vacation!” usually during summer or spring break. The most used destinations are a beach, a remote cabin, somewhere exotic, a city, or Hawaii. Sometimes the characters may go on a camping trip. And on each vacation, at least four of the following will happen:
  • If traveling by car, they will get a flat tire or end up off road. On an airplane, there will be turbulence. Bonus points if it ruins a meal.
  • During this long drive/plane ride, somebody will shout “I need to pee!” within the first few minutes.
  • The family will either forget something in their luggage or lose it altogether.
  • The hotel room will be unclean. There will only be one bed. Someone may wind up sleeping on the floor or in the bathtub.
  • The hotel will have stale breakfast and a tiny pool, if the family is lucky enough to even get a hotel with those things in the first place.
  • After the family checks out of the hotel, they will realize that they forgot something in their room. It doesn't have to be something valuable, but it is usually one of the character's favorite possessions.
  • When the characters get hungry, they will go out to eat. If they find a diner, the food will either be gross or something else will force them to leave, such as a disgusting guy sitting next to them. They will end up eating mints/wafers/gum/granola bars from a vending machine.
  • If it's a beach trip, the characters will be going to the ocean at this point. They will either:
A: Get attacked by the sea life. Seagulls and crabs are common. Octopi and jellyfish in a gross-out work.
B: Build a sand castle that will wash away, or they will leave before it is “finished.”
C: Swim in the ocean and come down with a nice case of hypothermia.
D: Be unable to find a place to lay out their beach towel and leave.
  • Another bathroom break! The characters will, in the best-case situation, end up using a repulsive convenience store toilet.
They'll have had enough of wherever they went and board a plane home. There'll be some nonsensical moral where they reflect on this vacation and go “Oh, it wasn't so bad. After all, we had fun and spent time together as a family!” Roll credits.

In an intense battle, the main character unlocks a “new form” or become more powerful than they used to be

yep, I've seen that so many times. Sometimes it works such as magical girl shows sometimes it doesn't in stories where magic really isn't a thing

The best part is that it’s virtually impossible to get hypothermia from getting wet

This never happens in shows where magic is nonexistent…
