Somebody please tell me if this would be okay as it's own topic in TIRaP

So I was doing a bit of tweaking, and something unfortunate happened. Now whenever I load my Diamond I'm on my bike in the middle of the ocean. This means I have to reset my game (which is a bit sad because there are a few things on there I don't want to lose).

Then I came up with an idea, why not let the people on this forum dictate my next play through?

Enter Scratch Plays Pokémon DiamondTM!!!
Here are the rules:

• Pokémon can only be caught after a gym badge is earned or important event occurs and must be determined by another Scratcher (basically say ‘go catch this’)
  

• If a Pokémon faints, it is considered dead and will be permanently boxed
  

• All Pokémon must be nicknamed (by another Scratcher)
  

• A report of what happens each day mustbe given (and I'll try to play at least 5 days a week)
  

Okay so now that's been established (it's basically a glorified nuzlocke) let's start the madness!

First we will be determining (I'll fill these in):

My player's name - Waffleon
My player's gender - Female
My rival's name - datboi
My starter - Chimchar
My starter's nickname - Penguinio

THESE HAVE ALL BEEN CHOSEN ALREADY, HEAD HERE FOR THE LATEST ONE

Please only two per user so one person doesn't choose them all

I'll make a video at the very end to show who survived and release those who didn't

Maybe you should name it after a meme, like Grumpy Cat. (One time in Pokemon Black 2 I named a Pokemon that had nothing to do with a cat “Grumpy Cat”

Anyway, I would like to do something like this, but I don't want to lose the save data for any of my games. I want to get one of the DS Pokemon games, because I already have Diamond, Platinum, SoulSilver, White, and Black 2, and my younger brother has Pearl, Platinum, HeartGold, Black, and Black 2, but out of all of those games, we only have the boxes for Diamond, Pearl, SoulSilver, and my brother's copy of Black 2. Also, I might get the Virtual Console version of Gold, Silver, and/or Crystal this weekend. I'll make a topic for you all to vote.
