FNAF THEORIES (The Expanded Universe of the Five Nights At Freddy's games)
Lefty isn't Charlie, he/she's Sammy. In the books, it's mentioned that Charlie's twin died sometime around the early 80s. That lands it just at where the Puppet dies. How else could Charlie do all that stuff in the first two books? I've been rewatching through the whole series just watching a playthrough and there's so many more details I'm noticing with all the lore knowledge I've got now. Do y'all have any Pizzeria Simulator-tied theories?
By the way, the way the books and the games work, they both have the same characters and overall plot, but there's a few details that are different, such as twelve freaking balloon boys.
But yeah, that's my theory

I am so excited for this!!! There could be endless presets… Guys. . .3 words: Scottgames new teaser
About a year ago, I tried to start a FNaF: Everything Edition where I would continue to add on more and more animatronics from the franchise, but I never finished. Looks like Scott beat me to it!
He's really giving the fanbase what people want.
Yeah! I saw it just now!

Pretty much no one makes theories about the fangames! I've always wanted to learn the lore behind the Five Nights at Candy's trilogy.
I don't think ALL fangames have lore though lol

Scott Cawthon said in a Steam post that future games would be worked on by big companies. But he also said that he wanted to end the games on his own.
I really hope that this just means that there will be console ports of the original games. It would be kind of disappointing if the story and lore of FNaF was milked by some big company.

So, FNaC 3 seems to confirm the “mistake” that all of the other games have foreshadowed. Mary Schmidt is guilty and thinks that she is the cause of two different deaths- the person in the Rat suit, and the person in the Cat suit.
This was probably already a little obvious, but it's a start

FNAF THEORIES (The Expanded Universe of the Five Nights At Freddy's games)
um….i have a theory, i can prove freddy did not cause the bite of 87, and golden freddy did….well, people think freddy cause the bite, but they think that because of the finger prints on his face, but i think that theory is messed up and un-spoken. people dont have proof why they think that's the kids finger prints. And freddy gave me a idea: 1. Easter eggs are EVERYWHERE, and if you seen the image of freddy taking off his head, you would know this already(mabey) 2. in fnaf 1, in the east (i think west) hall, there are posters on all walls and one of them is freddy singing on a stage. but the easter egg there, are 2 or 3 images, golden freddy and regular freddy and freddy taking off his head, which explains the finger prints on his head/face.3. golden freddy did it because…(SPOILER TIME!) PLAY FNAF 4!!!!! ONE MINI GAME SHOWS GOLDEN FREDDY BITING THE CHILD!!!! how can people miss that?

I'd hate to say that this has already been known to many people in the FNAF community, but that is the case, so you are correct. um….i have a theory, i can prove freddy did not cause the bite of 87, and golden freddy did….well, people think freddy cause the bite, but they think that because of the finger prints on his face, but i think that theory is messed up and un-spoken. people dont have proof why they think that's the kids finger prints. FNAF THEORIES (The Expanded Universe of the Five Nights At Freddy's games)
Ohailo everybody, it's me PPG. I have a couple theories about FNAF and FNAF 2 that I'm wondering if anyone else has thought about and come to the same conclusion as me.
First: Who was the victim of the Bite of ‘87????
Since it is not mentioned in the second game at all, the first conclusion that you must come to is that the Bite of ’87 has not happened yet. The check that you receive is dated 11-13-1987, meaning that since the Bite has not happened yet, it must have happened some time within the next two months. Along with the check, you receive a notice saying that Freddy Fazbear's Pizza Place is closing. It can't have happened while the restaurant was closed, now could it? That means that it would've had to happen at the end of the week that you were there. On Night Four of the second game, Phone Guy mentions that the animatronic's facial recognition systems aren't working right, and they are acting more hostile towards employees. On Night Six, you are asked to do one more job, a birthday party, staying near the animatronics so that they don't hurt anybody. After that is when the restaurant closes. Coincidence? I THINK NOT!!!!!!!! When you put all of the clues together, you are able to figure out that you, Jeremy Fitzgerald, the character/night guard that you play in FNAF 2, is the victim of the Bite of '87.
Or possibly a child at the birthday party.

FNAF THEORIES (The Expanded Universe of the Five Nights At Freddy's games)
I have a theory about the fnaf it self
Ok my theory is that the order of the games are wrong.it would really pretty much make sense if fnaf 4 was fnaf 1 then fnaf 3 is fnaf 2 and the reason why I am saying fnaf 2 is fnaf 3 is because in the news paper they say that the older(unfinshed) amotroincs will be kept in hopes of a new restrant and they also mention that they are going for a smaller scale restrant next time so that clearly make fnaf 1 that smaller scale restrant they were planning to build.and last but not least fnaf 1 is fnaf 4. Clearly that broken amotroincs that are in fnaf 2 are Freddy, boinne, chica(eek!) And foxy. A other reason that supports my theory is the infamous bite of 83 and 87 because if fnaf 4 has the bite of 83 then I think that means the order the games are in are backwards
I think that FNaF sister location is in 1985, as it opened in the wake of Freddy's closing down. Which happened after the MCI.
FNaF 2 is in 1987 due to the paycheck establishing that as the date, and he even comfirmed the timeline placements of matpat's FNaF 2 theory to be correct.
FNaF 1 and FNaF 4 are in the same week, in 1993. The logbook hints twoards the idea of FNaF 4's nights being Mike's nightmares taking place after his shift in FNaF 1.
FNaF 3 is set in 2023, and so is FNaF 6.

FNAF THEORIES (The Expanded Universe of the Five Nights At Freddy's games)
This is my theory on who the Orange Guy is and who he can't be.
Evidence for William Afton being Orange Man
Purple Car.
Why the heck would Scott include a purple car, a purple car, mind you, with the SAME EXACT body structure of the one in the TCTTC minigame. The color is slightly different but color changes often in between games and it's the same general scheme as well.
Rainy weather. The midnight motorist has the exact same rainy weather as the security puppet minigame, which we know is a recreation of the TCTTC minigame, and it along with the FNaF 3 minigames, which in the end minigame shows the puppet kid confronting her murderer, have the rainy weather.
The rainy day in the FNaF 3 minigames makes sense as it shows the puppet kid chasing her murderer at the end into his own murder suit that he died in, which adds to the confrontation air of the minigame as this minigame has the same weather as that of the day puppet girl died.
But the midnight motorist minigame, which is not a confrontation scene at all, has no other way for the rainy whether to make sense except for it to show that the minigame is taking place on the sane day that the puppet girl got murdered on.
And what do we see in that minigame?
William Afton driving off from somewhere we don't get to see in a purple car.
And in the FNaF 2 TCTTC minigame we see William Afton driving off TO somewhere we don't get to see after killing the kid.
That leads me to believe that this is showing what William Afton did after he killed the take cake victim as well as showing us a more in depth approach on his relationship with Mike, aka runway kid.
3.
Text font.
Scott has emphasized the importance of text color in FNaF games, and FNaF 6 is no exception.
Green man talks in green, grey shirt grandparent talks in grey.
So it makes sense for William's text color to have significance.
And what do we see Orange Man talk in? Yellow text not Orange text.
And if you recall, William Afton talked in yellow text during the fruity maze minigame as well as blue.
These two texts relate to his two sprites.
Blue is not exactly the same color as purple but it is a close color, and what do we see in FNaF 1-4?
William Afton with a PURPLE sprite.
And yellow is also a close color to Orange.
And we see an Orange Man talking in the SAME EXACT yellow text color as William's text color in the fruity maze minigame.
The cutscenes. William Afton, in the cutscenes before we complete pizza simulator, is shown in each image wearing an indigo vest.
Just like how in FNaF 1-4 William Afton had a purple sprite.
But after we complete the ending of FNaF 6 we see William Afton in a new color vest.
An Orange vest.
Same guy but a different color vest.
Possibly implying that at some point in this game we see William Afton in this last game of the MCI and Afton family saga with an Orange sprite.
Same guy different sprite.
And what do we see in midnight motorist?
A man with an Orange sprite driving a Purple Car with the same general body structure of the purple car seen in the take cake minigame on a rainy day, and acting violent to his kid, implying that he has somewhat a violent nature towards kids in general. And as a child killer that does make a lot of sense.
And it also lines up perfectly with William Afton having the Orange vest in the LAST cutscene of the game, as his sprite is Orange is the last game of the series covering the MCI and the Afton family.
Also the fact that William Afton is purple with glowing white eyes when he is seen by a child or a robot possessed by a child. As he is shown with this sprite in SAVETHEM, FNaF 3, and FNaF 4. all of these minigames are in the perspective of a child, no matter if they are a ghost or alive or possessing a robot, they are all kids essentially. And also the sprite design shown in these games is more shadowy than the others, and Scott Cawthon himself said “what is seen in the shadows is easily misunderstood in the mind of a child” hence why they see him as a dark figure.
He is pinkish purple with black eyes when he is seen by a robot that is simply running on ai. As we only see these kind of sprites in the Foxy minigame and take cake minigame. Foxy is not possessed by a kid yet in the Foxy go go minigame as this is showing us a representation of the MCI. And, regardless on whether you believe that the bear in the take cake minigame is FredBear or Freddy, this minigame shows us the first incident where a kid is killed, making it impossible for FredBear or Freddy to be possessed as there were no other murders before this.
So William's “Pink Guy” sprite in seen in minigames told through the eyes of non possessed animatornics simply running on Ai scripts.
William's sprite that he is mostly seen in is shown in minigames told through the eyes of children, whether they be ghosts or alive.
And in midnight motorist we are playing as Orange Man himself.
And notice how it is somewhat different than all of the other purple man sprites.
This is because it is being shown through the eyes of not an animatronic onlooker or a child, but rather William Afton himself.
And also notice that in the minigames seen through the animatornics and kids eyes William Afton is seen as basically this kind of mysterious and scary guy while in the minigame seen in William's perspective, he seems like a normal guy almost, driving to his house and not killing anyone.
The difference in sprite is because of the difference in perspective.
The memories told form the non possessed animatronic are slightly different as they see him as a more of a background predator rather than the big bad scary man that all of the kids see him as including Mike aka crying child, who had fights with his dad as seen in the midnight motorist minigame hence why he sees his dad as scary like how all of the other kids see him as.
But the kids and the animatornics both see him as generally a bad guy hence why the sprites are similar yet different as they see him as a different type of bad guy.
But William Afton sees himself as just a guy doing his stuff, yes, he acknowledges his kills and doesn't wanna get caught but he doesn't see himself as a bad man. He just sees himself as a tired man who gets home from work everyday only to see his son locking himself in his room everyday. Hence why the yellow sprite is so different in color.
So the difference in sprites is not due to them being different people, it is simply due to them being shown in a different perspective, and the Orange sprite still having a purple car, driving off from somewhere we don't get to see connecting to how Purple Guy in the TCTTC minigame drove off to somewhere we also get to see, and his house being like the house on the FNaF 4 title screen, which is Mike'e childhood home. We got ourselves The Purple Man for the identity of the Orange Man.
And for the difference to the FNaF 4 minigame house is that.
In the FNaF 4 nights gameplay we don't play in the same house as the FNaF 4 minigame house. As the title screen house is in a clearing surrounded by trees, and the FNaF 4 minigame house is in walking distance to a Freddy's establishment. So the argument of the minigame house being different is invalid.
The minigame house is different simply because William Afton moved there sometime before he made circus baby's pizza world, hence the little girl's room. So the different houses thing is simply because William Afton moved closer to Freddy's after he rose in the ranks.
And also the fact that there is an animatornic footprint in the yard implying that the Orange Man works as a technician for FredBear's or Freddy's, and if I can remember correctly, William Afton was a technician of sorts.
Also William Afton as Orange Man is the only one that makes sense as it cannot be Henry, as Henry only has a daughter and does not have a violent nature or history of violent acts as the Orange Man seems to be somewhat violent towards the kid in the bedroom, but William Afton did the MCI, which could be considered a violent act. Also Henry is in no way implied in the games OR the books to have fought with his kids, but in the games, Mike obviously doesn't like William Afton as evident by his desire to track down and kill William Afton aka SpringTrap, so it makes more sense for this to be William Afton and Mike fighting than Henry and some made up son of his that is never mentioned in FNaF 6 to be fighting.
It is not Mike obviously because Mike was not old enough to have kids before he got scooped and after the scooper incident he decayed and in short wouldn't have the bodily functions necessary to make kids in the first place.
And why it can't be William's father is the subject of the next section of this theory.
Ok so apparently a theory has been going around that I like to call the “grandfather Afton theory”
According to this theory, since Orange Man is abusing a kid, this automatically means that the kid is William Afton and that the midnight motorist is the origins of the killer even though we never see the kid in the room nor is there real visual evidence to support the theory in the first place but since there is a kid being abused than that automatically means that it is William's origins, right?
Wrong.
I'll show you all why this is wrong.
The animatronic footprints.
There are animatronic footprints roaming around the house. Implying that there is a Freddy Fazbear or FredBear's establishment existing at the time.
Now apparently according to some people it is the first animatronic William Afton created.
Now, tell me, how does a kid have the skill to create robots in the first place?
“He was a genius”
Yes, he may have had some skill, but not enough skill for him to build it on his own without Henry's help, as shown by the insanity ending where it is revealed that he had Henry's help in creating the Funtime Animatronics. Implying that he is not the robotics expert we all make him out to be.
And secondly even if he was a genius, there is no way a teen or kid could craft an animatronic mascot, maybe a small simple thingy with only a few wires and wheels for a robotic club, not only is it that he would not have the skill to construct all of the steel framework and get all the wiring put in the right place and put in the code for the animatronic to be able to walk around in the backyard, but also he would in NO WAY be able to afford all of the pressure mechanisms, wires, joints, and costume parts as a child to construct the robot, ESPECIALLY if he and his dad didn't get along, and you don't make the money required to get that kind of stuff just by simply working at Mc Donald's or McSpanky's from Jimmy Newtron (lol).
Now this one is more of a counteractive thing to something I have seen,
People say that this minigame takes place in Britain because of the arcade minigame having the car start in the left lane.
Yeah. The ARCADE part.
Ok. Yeah, that's totally great evidence as the Orange Man's car is literally glowing neon as well as the rest of the cars on the road, as well as the road also being literally glowing neon with the ground being completely black and there being a scoreboard hovering over all of the literal glowing cars on the literally pitch black ground and the road that it literally glowing neon.
It's the arcade part, not the real secret minigame.
The arcade game is not literal so thus using it to back up your theories pretty much just makes it clear that you are desperate and cannot find any other way to prove it.
Also the part in the books where Carlton says that William Afton was spending his life fighting like a cornered rat.
That's the books.
Scott SAID on his steam post that the Books and games have separate canonicities, thus using the books for your argument is irrelevant and invalid.
Basically all the evidence for the midnight motorist is all wild speculation and zero visual evidence in the real minigame and only one piece of visual evidence in the ARCADE part of the minigame which is pretty desperate, in all honesty.
But in the minigame we SEE the FNaF 4 title screen house, William's purple car form the TCTTC minigame being driven by Orange Man, and Orange Man act violently towards a child.
Much more visual evidence in the REAL minigame pointing towards William Afton himself being the Orange Man's true identity rather than it being Will's father, so yeah.

Phone Guy: He will call into your office at random, creating a lot of noise and momentarily increasing the aggressiveness of the animatronics. He cannot call, however, if Springtrap is in the vents, because he can’t be in two places at the same time.

lol I think it is a troll for april fools similar to the one of Foxy being a good guy reference in Foxy's “ai” and a joke about either the Purple Guy = Phone Guy theory or the theory that was commonly believed during the time FNaF 3 was being teased and not yet released when the community was making theories of SpringTrap being the suit Phone Guy was stuffed into and consequently according to the theory went on to possess. Phone Guy: He will call into your office at random, creating a lot of noise and momentarily increasing the aggressiveness of the animatronics. He cannot call, however, if Springtrap is in the vents, because he can’t be in two places at the same time.
