I'm getting into Smash Bros again these days, and I'm thinking of buying either Marth and Player 2 Corrin Amiibo or getting some DLC for the Wii U version of Smash (I already have all the DLC characters and stages on the 3DS.)

What do you all think?

1: I don't have a PS2.
2: I don't really like any of the songs in the English Taiko games.

I'd actually try finding some sort of indie game on the eShop or something instead, there's some pretty cool games on there (I even got one for $4, but it's no longer on sale)

The newest Japanese arcade release features DISNEY songs like Let It Go and Try Everything.

In all seriousness, you should probably get whatever you find to be the best value for money.

It depends:
If the Wii U version has exclusive DLC that means something to you, get an eShop card (you might find some other games you want on the eShop).
If the Wii U DLC doesn't really mean that much to you, then get the Amiibo.
