Bad Word Detector
Hello there
several times I tried to make a comment the Bad Word Detector tells me to chance my comments, even though I used no bad words at all!
e.g. when I am saying about the Vocaloid Song “Fukkireta”, the anime “Kurosh i tsuji” or… I actually wanted to make this comment
These tutorials are very old and I had no clue back then, you shouldn't rely on them. I used UTAU of course, but enveloped a very own voicebank type and created this voicebank on my own, so it's actually a bunch of work.
Also: Did you ever try to load a different voicebank? Because if you use a romaji (english letters) UST on Defoko, who only supports hiragana (japanese letters) CV, it won't work.
I understand that this website needs a bad word detector and I really appreciate this idea, but why does it keep on telling me I am saying bad words when I actually don't?

It's probably because the first four letters of Fukkireta could be a misspell of the f-bomb. Not sure about Kurosh i Tsusji though.

The censor is really over-protective, but it's so people can't conceal their swears. It does need to be smarter.

These are called false-positives.
And they are being deprecated.

It does need to be smarter.it totally does.
I know that Scratch is being overly protective, but couldn't we just report inappropriate comments instead of not being able to write comments at all? ö.ö
Also: If I'd really like to insult people here (which is totally stupid but whatever) I could just add a lots of spaces, -'ses or whatever between the words

It's called the Scunthorpe problem: I found a similar thing once when I was typing ‘smash it’ in the project description. I can do it now, though. They used to block ‘skyscraper’, apparently!

We added “fukkireta” to the whitelist so the filter won't pick up on it anymore. However, “Kurosh i tsuji” can't be whitelisted as it's a phrase and not a single word.

Note that the filter uses modifications of the bad word (here it is likely the f-bomb) and it picks it up. For example, if cat were a bad word, the words kat, c@ and ckat would also be banned.
Unfortunately (or fortunately), no. The filter also works with other mess ups, like c a t, çat, ¢at and anything that looks like cat.
Also: If I'd really like to insult people here (which is totally stupid but whatever) I could just add a lots of spaces, -'ses or whatever between the words

Exactly c:
but sometimes the bad word detector is just too overprotective.
like as you've seen… if sheep was a bad word, sleep would be blocked, too, which is certainly not a bad word ~

in fukkireta, the first 4 letters look like the f word and in Kurosh i tsuji, the last 2 letters of Kurosh, the i, and the first letter of tsuji look like…um…well, the word theat starts with the first 2 letters of she and next is the 3rd vowel and ends with T
