I just tried to log into scratch and everything went wrong.

It could be due to some addon or extension in your browser.

Please do not remove the browser metadata (the stuff that looks like “My browser / operating system: Windows 7, Firefox 58.0, Flash 28.0 (release 0)”)
Could you please post that by pressing the globe icon? Also, test your internet speed at http://www.speedtest.net/ and tell us your Ping, Download and Upload speed (please do not tell us any other information)

uhg sorry i cant quote people right now. the button isnt working and i forgot what the tags are. I cannot add the browser data as the globe icon isnt showing up for me. the most i know is that I run chrome, and windows 10. i'll try removing any browser extensions.

this is what the text field looks like. there are no buttons other that “submit” and “go back”

Edit: removing any browser extensions did nothing. Im going to download firefox and see if it works there.
No other webpages i use are messed up like this.
(hey the edit button works for me, yay!!)

Yep, definitely a browser problem or slow connection. Scratch does have a problem for some users (including me) where the reply box looks like that for a few seconds, but it goes away and everything else is normal.

There was probably an easier solution, but I re-installed chrome and it fixed itself.The web-page was only messed up on pages that used the old toolbar instead of the one on the main page, so that might be what was causing it?
