I just read through all of the parts. I'll think on new ideas for it. But first, so far: We are going ahead with a new tribe? and What style of writing will we use?

For the new tribe, I'm not sure that would be the best idea because we hardly know anything about Pantala and the regular continent is a little too far expanded for a new tribe.
Yeah, so If you will look at the first post in this thread, there's a link to Lost in Pyrrhia, a story that we tried to do w/ multiple writers and pretty much failed at. We're trying to do this one better than that. You should read it though, just to see how we were doing it. I have an epilogue project that explains what we did wrong.

Okay, I like that idea of everyone writing from the perspective of one character then.
So, I agree w/ the no Pantela rule. I also agree w/ the no Animus rule. And we could still do the thing where everyone has their own character, but if we were gonna do that, we need to plan out a play-by-play of what happens so that we can keep a consistent plot. Same if we did one character, but if everyone had their own, it could get a lot more complicated.
Yeah. I agree with all of those I think it would be cool as well to incorporate an important scavenger character.
OH YES, A SCAVENGER!! (And I agree with no animus and Pantela. It was just an idea…)

Ok, so it seems like everyone wants a new tribe. I think we should do something that contrasts HUGELY from all the other tribes that has been hiding underground for a long time, so the StoneWing would work best for this. I really like the idea of a flightless dragon as well. As for plot, I think it would be best to have only 4 main characters with two that are classic dragons, one of the new tribe, and a scavenger. This way, it is easy to keep track of all the characters and no one gets confused and forgets the names and stuff. This was an issue that. I saw with Lip, is that there was way too many main characters, and everyone was. Having trouble keep track of them. Maybe the two classic dragons are troublemakers and they stumble across a tunnel in the middle of the night and get thrown into a big adventure trying to save the new type of dragon from extinction. The time period could be right after the events of the 2nd arc, during the 3rd arc.

I'm pretty sure we're doing it focused on one dragon, so its not gonna be like lip where everyone was a different character, because taut was one of the reasons lip failed.

I Completely agree with this idea! I think it would be really cool to have a different tribe hidden away. I don't think however, that we should have anything to do with magic - at all. Not even the mind-seer thing. We don't need anything OP, and people will relate to something that's not better. Besides maybe some translator for the scavenger, of course. That also brings up the scavenger. Do we want the scavenger to have learned Dragon-tongue, or have a translator of sorts? I think there's some small details like this that we need to decide.

I think it could be a translator- I didn't think of that when I came up with the idea. But yeah, maybe a translator necklace could be the only animus thing in the whole book, made by an animus dragon that cared for scavengers.

-What should the beginning of the plot be? Once we figure this out, we can evolve into the complete plot.
-How should we import the scavenger?

I vote keep the stonewings. As is.
Classic Dragons as Possibly NightWing and IceWing NO ANIMUS OR NIGHTWING POWERS IN ANY WAY.
No idea for beginning of plot.
Maybe the Scavenger just follows them around?
No idea for main conflict yet either. I'm just going for establishing characters first. I'm in new territory here, my favorite kinds of WoF fanfic are the kinds that explain previous events in history, like w/ Revival it's the Dragonets, w/ Successor it's Scarlet, and w/ my new one in the mag First Contact, (spoilers I guess) it's about the Scavengers arriving on Pyrrhia.

I think SkyWing and IceWing (Are we allowed to have hybrids? If so, I have a REALLY GOOD SkyWing-IceWing hybrid…)

I don't mind what tribes we use, I think IceWings and NightWings would provide an interesting part in the plot. For the scavenger, I think we should have the scavenger have already discovered the translator ( are we thinking an animus-touched necklace? ) and had been observing dragons for a while. Maybe he/she had watched the Night/IceWing fall into the hole that the StoneWings reside in. Then, he was curious and followed them, joining them like that. Then the dragons were very surprised when the scavenger could speak ( via the translator. ) Another possibility is that the dragons had fallen down separately, and that the scavenger accidentally fell down later/before they did, and hadn't been watching them at all. In this possibility the scavenger would either have fallen first and found translator after fallen, or fallen after and previously found translator like in the first possibility. I'm open to other suggestions, too. Maybe for IceWing names

~ Blizzard

~ Taiga

NightWing names: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/163980768/ ( NightWing name generator. If you guys get a good one let us know. )

What about genders? Maybe Male IceWing and Scavenger, Female NightWing and StoneWing. ( What I think it should be. )

Then, after the dragons and the scavenger fall into the hole the StoneWing could come and find them.

StoneWing names:
~Crevice
~Grotto
~Ravine
~ Any type of gem/rock
~ idk XD

What are specifics on the StoneWings? So scales are rocks, no wings, what else? ( Sorry for this being really long. )

Phbug's WoF Collab story Discussion Thread

Hold on, So, about the Translator thing. So, Anyone who's been looking at my theories from a while back may or may not be familiar with my concept of WoF taking place in Earth's future. That evidence is discussed here in kind of a sloppy way. In my story for the mag, First Contact, I'm explaining how the humans got to Pyrrhia, and the long and short of it is that it's this human colonization effort. However, the humans do, at some point, build a translator. What say you guys?

Well, I should probably get back to work. If I stop rowing for too long, the slave ship starts going around in circles.
