Sound Doesn't Play Until One Second Has Passed

I've noticed recently that when starting a project from the editor/project page when no sound has played for at least 30 seconds, the sound plays after one second has passed. This is extremely annoying when you are trying to create an elevator or an intro etc.

My computer: DELL Inspiron 17 8GB RAM i5 Core Processor. Processor speed: 1.60GHz
My browser / operating system: Windows NT 10.0, Chrome 64.0.3282.186, Flash 28.0 (release 0)

Hi, have you checked your sound has not a silence at the start?

Try cutting out anything before sound… Such as a silence like Asivi stated above.

Do you mind sharing the project and giving me a link?

It happens on all projects whether it's an elevator or an animation etc. I will give you a link to one of them. Link is here.
Also, I'm sorry for the late reply. I am part of the UTC time zone.

DELL computers are known for coming with built-in unwanted software (I believe), which can slow down the computer, and slow computers cause all sorts of problems with Scratch 2.0. Run an anti-virus scan (get the trial of Kaspersky Antivirus at https://www.kaspersky.co.uk/ ), run an anti-malware scan (get the trial of Malwarebytes at https://www.malwarebytes.com/ ) and run a computer clean up program (get CCleaner at https://www.ccleaner.com/ , although you have to be careful running it as they got hacked a few months a go, should be fine now but still).
Once you have done that, tell us if the problem has stopped.

I have just run a scan with McAfee. Results: Exact same as before.

McAfee is known for not being very good. Try the trial versions of the programmes I showed you. Note if you have parental controls, a restricted computer or you are using a school computer, this will make it harder for us to help you. Also, what version of Windows are you running? I'm asking because Windows no longer updates the version number (included in your post). Are you running Windows 10, as the version number says, Windows November Edition, Windows Anniversary Edition, Windows Creators Edition or Windows Fall Creators Edition? Since all of those versions have Windows 10 logos on them, ask me if you need help identifying your version of Windows.
