Hi,

I finished the installation of Scratch 2.0 offline on my computer 64 bit with Ubuntun 15.04. but I have a problem. When I run Scratch It only display a with window.

Does anybody have a solution for this.

I am using Scratch 2.0 on Ubuntu 15.04 and yes is the first time i Installed on this machine with ubuntu I used to install on the same machine when i used windows 8, but i switch for ubuntu 15.04 one month ago and i cant use Scratch offline.

I can run Scratch 2.0 but i see a blank screen on the scratch window and i dont have option on the menu bar on the top.

Have you tried installing version v439.3.?

Try uninstalling the Scratch Editor and then download this:

https://scratch.mit.edu/scratchr2/static/sa/Scratch-437.air

i downloaded scratch for ubuntu 15.04 and i cant figure out how to run it. please help meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. i extrated the files and i don't see a way to open scratch.

I tried the recent version on ubuntu and the version you suggested. Both didn't work. Can you help me? I can only do scratch 1.4 offline editor.

Attempted Scratch 460, came up with a blank screen and no hard drive activity (except when I started it up the 1st time).
Attempted to install Scratch 437, came up with an error, saying that the installer is corrupted.

Running Ubuntu 16.04.3 LTS
on a Dell Inspiron 6400 (I don't think this is necessary, but who cares)
Google Chrome
Adobe AIR 2.6 (I think)

If AIR isn't updated, try that. If you dont need LTS, try going to 17.##, or 18 once it comes out. Anything else I can think of is just Scratch not liking Linux.
