Scratch Offline for Microsoft Windows CE 6.0?

Operating System: Windows CE 6.0 ( I think)
Device: An ARM NetBook (name doesn't really matter)

So, I decided to get a Windows CE NetBook from eBay that came with Windows CE and somehow later on thought, “It would be a great idea to run Scratch on this NetBook.” It was bugged and I finally got Windows to the point where I can stuff on it. I have tried Android on it and well, lets say it didn't appeal me and plus it seemed to in my opinion be more outdated than Windows CE. Before I even dare to try Linux, I am wondering, will there be a port of Scratch Offline (version 2.0) for ARM devices such as this Windows CE NetBook or any Windows CE ARM device? I know that the Scratch Team, has made a port of Scratch Offline before for ARM, which should work with Asus Tinkerboard and Raspberry Pi, but I don't think it's even compatible with Linux for a Windows CE ARM NetBook. I have chosen the offline version of Scratch, because let's face it, Windows CE is today sort of obsolete and isn't very much supported anymore. I have looked on Google hoping to see if there is a, “secret or something,” version of Scratch for Windows CE, but no. Only a bunch of project about Windows CE or simulating it. Is it possible to in the near future that there will be a Scratch port for Windows CE or is there already a source code ARM version of Scratch? I am aware that Windows CE can run some Windows Mobile apps the problem is that, well, there isn't a known version of Scratch for Windows Mobile either. A response would be a appreciated.

If you want to run Scratch 2.0, you'll need to install Flash Player 10.2 (from 2011) or later, which I really don't think is available for Windows CE. You'll probably also have a hard time finding a browser up-to-date enough to run Scratch 3.0. I don't know whether or not you'll be able to download or compile a version of Squeak capable of running Scratch 1.4.

There is a flash player that runs on CE, but iirc it's only flash player 7.
Just take the plunge and install debian/gentoo/slackware/lfs gnu/linux. The device will be much faster, and it *will* be able to run Scratch 1.4.

Windows CE has been replaced with Windows Mobile (now Windows Phone) which is not available for download, only phone manufacturers have access to it. Just install Windows 7 Starter (Microsoft's lightweight distribution of Windows 7) assuming this is an x86 device, or, if you are more technical and know how to deal with random crashes, install Linux.

It says Arm in the OP, therefore the device won't be able to run Windows 7, starter or not. Regardless, windows 7 starter isn't lightweight, it's just a version of Windows 7 with limitations, intended to be a cheaper version of windows for very low end devices. It requires the same amount of specifications.
Also Gnu/Linux generally has less random crashes than windows.

I think you've mixed up Windows and GNU/linux.
1. I misread the OP
2. Windows 7 Starter worked fine on an old notebook that could probably barely run actual Windows 7
3. How come Windows 7 has never crashed on me, while my Mac OS computer kernel panics every 2 months and I see videos on YouTube about how unstable Linux can be on standard hardware and NVIDIA graphics cards then?

Windows is great for standard use
Mac OS is great for being on the go
Linux is great for servers

Windows 7 Starter is the exact same as Home Basic, except that you could only get licenses for it as OEM with low power computers, and that you can't enable Aero or change the desktop background.

If you really want to run Scratch, it'd probably be best to go with Android (if you're lucky enough to be able to run Android 2 or later you can download Flash from Adobe and run Scratch 2.0) or some GNU/Linux distribution (if you can find out how).

It has a faster boot time I think too as most versions of it had the Vista bootstrap instead.

Mac os is bad, I can agree.
However, it's mostly Microsoft shills creating faked videos on how gnu/linux is “unstable,” although it's not, and gnu/linux is actually much more stable.
And you refer to your old notebook running windows 7 starter better than normal windows 7? That's probably because you used the 64bit version. The windows 7 starter and normal windows 7 32bit are exactly the same, except for less features and drm. It also doesn't have the windows Vista bootstrap, and that wouldn't even make a difference as the Windows 7 bootstrap is almost identical to the Vista bootstrap.

Mac OS isn't bad, I never said that. It may kernel panic, but it usually does it when it's asleep or it's not doing anything important. It doesn't do as often any more either.
The notebook was 32-bit I'm pretty sure. Maybe it's just my memory, but I remember that it used less system resources.
It may have not used the Vista bootstrap, but the version of Starter my notebook came with had the Vista bootscreen.
IMO, Linux is only good for servers, full stop.
Let's discuss the topic, please.

Im sorry, but Linux is 1000x better than Windows at everything but gaming and thats the only reason holding me back from switching. You can game on Linux, but I dont want to have to learn how to do that.
Stop spreading misinformation and your anti-linux views.

Opinion =/= misinformation. Linux is good, but I would never see myself use it on a daily basis. I am also a gamer.

Scratch Offline for Microsoft Windows CE 6.0?

Okay, it looks like this netbook won't run Linux or not well or without any drivers. I don't know if I can build Scratch from a source like source code compiled for Windows ARM. I tried Android v2.0 I think and it kept having volume up and down problems like it kept going up and down without anything being touched and it was very obnoxious and Scratch wasn't made for Android I think especially versions 4.4 and under.

I think an older distro might work. You said offline, correct? Is Adobe AIR compiled for any ARM devices?

(imo linux is good for people who can't afford new copies of windows)
(only crashed it once by breaking an upgrade and then shutting it down in the middle :P)
