Okay, so you all know how Greg is a somewhat-pretentious tween who thinks that he will achieve fame in the future, or that he maybe is already famous and well-known?

Well, it is true. His series of journals being bestsellers in our world, it seems that Greg has already reached his goal.

My mind was blown when I realised this.

I couldn't finish The Getaway. It was too gross for me. When Greg got cornered by the spider in the hotel room, I stopped reading.

Just read on ‘til you reach page 211.

The spider part wasn’t bad. To me, it's pretty normal in the tropics.

Anyways, whatever is the answer, it is probably why Greg is such a jerk, he probably gets it from Rodrick.

Here's something interesting I found out. Diary of a Wimpy Kid, before it was released as a book, was available to read on Funbrain.com, a site that's a parent of Jeff Kinney's online game Poptropica. It's similar to the first book in the series, but there are some differences. You can read it here. One of the things I noticed is that there are a lot more mentions of real-world objects like Hershey's Kisses, the Sony Playstation, Nintendo Game Boys with link cables, Spider-Man comics, Shel Silverstein's book A Light in the Attic, and America's Funniest Home Videos. There are also mentions of things that wouldn't show up until later books, like the Peachy Breeze commercial.

It was because it wasn't affected by copyright much.

I like Diary of a Wimpy Kid. It's funny, it's wacky, it's gross, and fun! For haters, it is way better than this medicore thing. The movies might have made Greg more wimpy, and is more gross, it still deserves to be watched.

And I never even read Dork Diaries. And I am not planning to.

Theres another series by the same person called the Misadventures of Max Crumbly, which I also don't like. To much ALL CAPS. I know DOAWK had ALL CAPS, but at least they didn't give us A WHOLE SENTENCE WITH NOTHING BUT CAPS LOCK AND A MILLION EXCLAMATION POINTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (that, my friends, was a very accurate representation of the Max Crumbly books).

I feel Greg is suppose to be a jerk. It's called WIMPY kid. It means Greg is a jerk and everybody else is just jerk to him (other from Rowley, and Fregley).

Stop before you say “Necroposting does not exist in the Suggestions forum”. Because yes, it does. The only exceptions are if it adds something to the discussion, and the topic is still relevant. Other from that, necroposting exists in the Suggestions forum.
