Creating Student Accounts
In the new 2.0, is there a way to for a teacher to create and monitor student accounts, or will each student need to create their account on their own?
Thanks
Thanks

From what i have seen no, each student requires their own account and i have not seen a way to monitor students except of course the browser history.
Pondering what to work on.

Each student will need to create their own account. However, I think a teacher-student feature would be nice.

yeah, there should be ‘coaches’ and ‘students’ but students have to allow the person to be there coach, so the teacher requests to coach the students, and the teacher goes on the students accounts and allows! that would be nice, even though i'm not a teacher Each student will need to create their own account. Creating Student Accounts
I've been working with my class on Scratch 2.0 this week and loving it!
However, and it's for me a big however, at the moment we all log on to one account. This way I can keep easy tabs on what they are all doing and they can easily borrow scripts from each other.
It may be because we are all logged on like this that they have frequently been unable to save changes to their work - it goes into a “sign in” loop where no sign in button shows up, though the log on details are there saved.
The only way of ensuring that the work is saved is to download the .sb file and upload it again next lesson, merging it with the saved file, which has not saved the work done in the lesson. Otherwise several children have completely lost over two hours work and had to start again.
The children have been magnificent in dealing with these issues and mostly not at all discouraged but I really do feel that a class log in would be SO HELPFUL. Then there's the issue of what you do and don't want to share with the whole world, safeguarding etc.

Code club states that teachers can create mutiple accounts using the same email, so if you set up student1SCHOOLCODE with a simple password and repeat for all the rest I think this would work. I appear to have two accounts linked to my work email at the moment

Is there a way to upload multiple student accounts to Scratch when creating student accounts? Like with a CSV file or something? How does one do that? Thanks!
