Help! I really want to become a REALLY good programer. All my friends are good, but I never get any views. :(

I can only draw well, My friends and I are doing a movie about warrior cats. Basically, my friend, she gets to do most of the coding. Of course, I have to draw. I'm not complaining, I actually wanted to draw, but I like to program too. Plus, I've been doing Scratch for almost 2 years. All my friends at school (Including the kids that I am doing the warrior cats movie with) say I should speak up. So I try, and I can. But the truth is I really want to be good. Please help me!

Well I mean, I am pretty good. I just want to be SOOOO good that my projects get featured. I want to be able to code games that can scroll, or can be 3d. I guess many people would agree. It is my decision though. Should I speak up? Should I learn more right now, or wait? PLEASEEEEEEEEE HELLLLLPPPPPPP!!!!!!!!!!!!1

1: Try not to blockspam (using blocks to communicate instead of showing scripts / suggesting ideas)
2: There are plenty of tutorials out there: you should be able to learn programming if you follow some of those (check out the Tips page, then later try checking out some Scratcher-made tutorials)

Easy there.
Start off slow.
My first projects were…not very good. Do not worry about becoming Griffpatch in two seconds, he's been coding since he was a kid, so obviously, it will take a long time to climb up to his level.
Just try fiddling with the coding at first, just snap some blocks together, and try it out.
Once you feel comfortable with the blocks, try making some games found in the Tips page.
Then, I suggest taking peeks at the insides of other projects to see how they work–you might learn something from that.
Then, go find some Scratcher-made Tutorials. Bubble103 has some useful tutorials, and here's a Studio Filled with Tutorials.

Improvement takes time. Have a clear goal in your mind, but remember it can take many years to get there. If you rush things, you'll most likely become stressed and no longer wish to program or code. You should watch some projects or videos that help explain useful tips for coding and just experiment. Try, try, try again.

Becoming a good programmer isn't something that happens overnight. It takes time, practice, and lots of effort. Expert programmers like griffpatch took years to reach where they are.

I'd suggest that you take it slowly at first. There are plenty of great tutorials on Scratch, far more than just the beginner ones in the Tips section, so why not check them out? Try experimenting with what different code does. Remember, everything, including programming, has a learning curve. Don't get stressed if you can't create griffpatch-level projects your first week on Scratch, it's perfectly natural.

Being a great programmer means that you are extremely familiar with the blocks and their uses. You know exactly what to do in order for this sprite to do what, and if you don't, learn! Try out creating a game, and create more and more. Practice makes perfect. Be patient; in time, you will gain the ability if you practice.
