Anyone who is a new scratcher can move up by generally being active in the community. Sometimes though, scratchers don't stick with scratch right away and come back to it later, or might not fit all of the requirements. What can be added is an automatic promotion to Scratcher status after a certain amount of time. There have been many questions about how to be a Scratcher from users that are years old. Because something didn't go right, they're restricted. A period of about around 6 months would good, though it could probably be less or more. A spammer isn't going to wait that long just so they can post without delay.

Does this sound completely crazy? Should it happen or be different? Also could anyone check if this is a duplicate? I'm on mobile right now, and that's too much work. I kinda feel like it is…

You said spammers aren't going to wait that long, but maybe there can be one of those code things just in case to get the scratcher message for the auto scratcher thing.

Good idea but spammers could just create tons of accounts and then wait 6 months. In my opinion the longer they’ve been around the shorter the requirements should be. But it should never be auto scratcher, just something like one project shared.

They could create a bunch of accounts and become Scratchers through normal means much faster. That really isn't done, so I doubt it would be abused

Support. on my test account, i was a new scratcher for a really long time just because i didnt want to share my horrible test projects.
