Scratch should have games were people have to pay!
Scratch should make people pay (for some) games. The reason i think that is because i have a game “Stickmen” and i won't realese it until i can
realese a “free” version and then i'd realese a pay version. When that hapens i'll only charge $1.00 for it.

Scratch is an educational website, not commercial. Don't support.

Scratch is a free educational website for everyone. No offense, but I would quit the minute I have to pay for “premium features” or to unlock a level.

Don't support. Scratch is free so more people can be easily introduced to the world of programming.

Sorry, but that really wouldn't work too well. Scratch is more for introducing people to programming, and it isn't really possible to make good games with it. Also, the Scratch motto includes the word “Share”, so this would cause Scratch to need a new logo. And, Scratch projects would need a new license as well, seeing as how right now their license states any of the content can be used as long as credit is given. Added to the fact that Scratch needs an interpreter which can only be found online or buggy offline. It is probably a better option to port it with Java or something. Sorry.

Lets say that I played games made a popular scratcher. He had 15 great games that I wanted to check out. Should I pay 15 dollars in order to merely view the project? I would not want to waste so much to get something that isn't even worth a dollar. Sorry, but I don't support this.
Scratch will be free and will always be free. By sharing your project, you consent to the fact that everyone can see it.

What if I make a project that pretends to be a game, but actually makes your computer explode? I could make you pay $10 for something you don't want, because you don't know what's behind the paywall.

Absolutely not. Scratch is educational and nonprofit. That would completely ruin scratch. Also, scratch is an introduction to programming, if you want some money program a game with c++ or something, not scratch.

This would go against the educational nature of the website, so I also do not support.

No. If you want to sell your projects, find a Scratch2exe converter and sell the output.

WHAT? Charging to see projects? This goes entirely against the educational nature of the website! And besides, less people will want to play your game if they have to pay. NO SUPPORT!

Dear god, I thought this was some sort of spam or joke…
On a more serious note, you cannot really ask for money for this, you made this using scratch, it technically belongs to scratch, unless you compile it and sell it somewhere else.

If I had to pay for Scratch games…I would..uh…I just can't think of anything to say
Bottom line:

Why would you want to pay for Scratch anyway? Scratch should make people pay (for some) games. The reason i think that is because i have a game “Stickmen” and i won't realese it until i can

WHY WOULD SOMEONE PAY FOR A SCRATCH GAME!!! Professional games cost money. For instance Goat Simulator costs $10 do you think games on scratch are worth 1/10 of that. The second I have to pay to play a scratch game I would get my laptop and throw it into a pool.

Can I sell my Scratch projects?
The answer is yes as long as it's not on the scratch.mit.edu website.

No support. Scratch is an educational site where you learn to program, not a commercial site. Also, Scratch's motto is Imagine, Program, Share. There would be a change in licensing and no Fair Use. On top of that, people can price things wrong and trolls can make you pay a lot for a project that is blank. Scratch is a free website and always will be.
