Well that's been known for a while now, and I have been predicting the same time. I really hope it is holiday season, because there are too many good games coming out before then!

I'm not sure if you guys have seen the latest Nintendo Direct, but, the 3DS one is coming out first! Also, more returning characters and one new one!

The black outlines on the 3ds version will have an option to be turned off according to the Nintendo direct on the 8th of April I believe.

The only reason I'm also getting the 3DS version is because it comes out earlier.

Prediction correct! The Wii u version comes out in the winter, which usually means Christmas.

Actually you can turn the outlines off.
Which is good because I only have (well technically WILL have, i got a used one online and its shipping from florida)

For those of you who haven't seen the Nintendo Direct. The 3DS version will come out first, sometime this summer. The Wii U version will come out in the winter. I cannot wait! The game looks so fun! Especially the exclusive Smash Run mode for the 3DS!
