After a lot of work and a lot of unexpected help, I feel good about releasing an Alpha Version of the Valley of Mystery!

About the Game
You are a scratch explorer sent to investigate the Valley of Mystery, find treasures, and rescue the other lost scratchers! Once you find a treasure it is added to your inventory and you can use it. Sometimes you will need a certain treasure to make it to the next part of the Valley. There is some story, you can talk to the scratchers you find to learn about the story, and you can also play the game without reading the story at all (although there are some clues hidden in the story). Once you reach the other side of the Valley and reach the top of the mountain you have finished the game. If you found the flag item during your journey you can place it on the mountain and your flag will be added to the game so other scratchers can see it.

A funny Story about Making this Game
I had no idea I was going to make this game. One day I was browsing through the help section and I saw a post by a user: 2DProductions asking for help with generating terrain for a sandbox game. I wanted to help, and so I made a quick test project to make some script that 2DProductions could use. I made a small platform of dirt to test it, and I kept accidentally running off of the side. This gave me the idea of a game where you start by falling off of a cliff into a valley. I started working on it a little more and got really into it. I made it my featured project. A few days later, 2DProductions saw the game and asked if he could help out with it!

At first I was not so sure I wanted help with it, but I thought might as well give him a try, especially since he had kind of set me on the track to make the game. And I am very glad I let him help out. He remade a lot of the art for the game into really cool looking stuff, came up with some awesome ideas for items (the Torch is probably my favorite of the items I would not have added if it were not for 2DProductions), and made the final Flag item possible with his Cloud Data Engine.

Alpha Testers Needed
Although technically this game has been out for a long time it still has lots of room for growth and improvement. Feedback would be greatly appreciated. If you would like to contribute as an Alpha tester follow these steps:

1. Play the Game without using anyone else's load codes. You can save and use your own save code. Try to get as far as you can in the game.
2. Answer these questions:
Was the game too hard or too easy for you?

Were the items easy to use and understand?

Of the following items, which were you able to find?
Possible Items to Find Rope, Parachute, Sword, Skates, Bowl, Key, Bed, Crystal, Lava Wings, Hammer, SpeedBoots, BoilingWater, Map in a Bottle, Torch, Scuba Gear, Flag)

3. Now you can use someone else's load code and play the game or skip to step 4.
