Major Paint Editor Bugs and Requested Features

happy to say and sad to say is… good news: its working well but the coumpter is still a bit slow when i play scratch…

In one of my projects that is unshared there is a glitch that makes seem to unload part of the pic, like there is a white screen blocking it, this isn't to major in this project but it definitely is a bad bug, and this is quite new. Notes: when I place the same sprite in another project it doesn't do that…..hmm weird. And yes I have check if in fact there was a sprite blocking it.

Please fix as soon as possible.

in scratch editor, there a idea: Scratch <-> Scratch Jr (only works on online editor)

Here is a minor issue. In vector mode: if you make a circle with a stroke and then use the paint bucket (with the blank stroke selected) to remove the stroke, the stroke will be removed in the editor window, but not actually removed from the sprites costume. If you leave the editor and return the stroke reappears.

A workaround is to use the filled circle option from the start.

On my project, Lync OS 2.1, I have the links and background in the home screen in vector, but is showing up like it's in bitmap. Please fix, thx

The paint editor is going absolutely crazy! When I draw in vector, sprites in project all move out of the screen and disappear. It must think i'm moving them, but i'm not! It's really annoying because when i move them back my drawing gets wrecked. (So many exclamation marks!

)

Hard to search this whole post, but I have trouble with changing the color of a text element in vector mode. It will change on the editor window, but not on the thumbnail or in the project. If I leave the costume and come back, the color is back to the original. I'm trying to make a typewriter sprite with 96 costumes. This bug is killing me.

It seems the text is from an editor outside of Scratch.

To change the color in Scratch, save the costume (shift click and select save to local file) as a .svg file and open it in a text editor. Remove stroke=“#000000” from the description of the text. To get it back into Scratch, click the import button in the paint editor.

Sometimes after I've painted a sprite and i come back to the paint editor the sprite moves to the very bottom left corner and gets cut

Sometimes in vector the paint data doesn't update, and it just reverts to what it was. You cannot make that change to the costume/backdrop.
2-pixel circles in bitmap are significantly narrower at some places.
The circle tool uses the circle itself, rather than the outer boundaries of the circle, as the top left. This makes it nearly impossible to draw precise circles.

What about the ability to turn off the ‘half pixels’ in bitmap? That would be nice.

In vector mode, I'm seeing a problem with the pencil tool. If I draw a letter L, it usually snaps to be a \ shaped line, a straight line between the start and end points. Somebody commented that this was previously fixed, but I'm definitely seeing it now, and I don't see this bug listed above.

it is not a bug! you have to switch to draw not line mode

In the 3.0 paint editor, it sometimes gets the color wrong. For example, when I draw a bouncy pad with color 13, saturation 69, and brightness 100, it gets it as color 12, saturation 68, and brightness 100. Please solve this ASAP!
