I have a 30 second long video - I've tried submitting it as a GIF (too big), but I don't know how to make the file smaller. How would I do this?

Try using an online video compresser.

I have done this with a GIF before, although it should work the same way.

Basically you upload the file as a sprite (this will take a while depending on the length of your video since it is using each frame as a costume)

This will loop the animation forever

You can also add in a wait after the next costume block if you want to change the frame rate to a slower pace.

If you want to loop through it only once you can use something like this

This won't help he needs to compress the time or remove some frames to make it fit in the scratch size limit.. remember it is 30 seconds of GIF.
