Because 2.0 needed one.

Discuss anime, manga, light novels, doujinshi, and visual novels here, or anything else that connects with anime/manga.

What does everyone think of Densha Otoko?

My favorite anime is Soul Eater (partially because I'm not as much into anime as I used to be). Anyone else?

I'm not into as much anime/manga as some really, really avid fans, but there are times I find a really good one that keeps my attention. While some people can chug out 50 episodes of anime per day, I prefer to watch at a slower pace.

The anime/manga I've seen are:
Fullmetal Alchemist
The manga. Some of Brotherhood. Not the 2003 anime because they completely altered the original storyline. (Also, steampunk.)
Last Exile
Again. Steampunk. Can't really go wrong with that. Basically about two “vanship” pilots who suddenly find themselves caught between warring factions. The show starts out slow, but gets interesting.
Mushishi
This show is always slow, but that's what I like about it. No flashy opening sequences, typical anime cliches, or the like. Each episode is stand-alone and there's no big storyline to follow. Just a guy travelling and meeting different people who have been affected by tiny, enigmatic creatures known as “Mushi”. It's really a nonchalant kinda anime.

I've watched others, but I thought I'd only mention the more… uhh… serious… ones.
Shin Chan is not serious… that, I know.

I've recently finished Madoka Magica a few weeks ago, and i'm currently watching Yuru Yuri, Nichijou, and Another. First two are both slice of life comedies, while the third is horror.

I've seen Fullmetal Alchemist and Mushi-Shi, both are great.

Also, is that Magical Shopping Arcade Abenobashi in your signature? I have a secret love for that show. (It's pretty ecchi so I don't even have it listed on my MyAnimeList account.)

Just finished Comic Party Revolution. 7/10, ends on…what I think is a cliffhanger, I have no idea what just happened.

Watching the two DVDs of Serial Experiments Lain I rented from Netflix (episodes 1-7) later tonight.

Can't wait for Crona to come back in Soul Eater! I wonder what the reaction would be… since she… her mother wanted her to be a kishin…
And btw I'm reading One Piece(and anime too!), Ao no Exorist, Ability, Code: Breaker, Deadman Wonderland(somewhat), and I really like to read One Piece fanfiction!
