Personality: She did not grow up in the rich life of a close monarch relative, especially being a distant relative, her father was a cousin of the Monarch's, and he was a banker, this grew her noble nature, and smart ways with words. She is secretly very deceptive and has managed to obtain information about different countries and their plans with a little bit of smart word choices, and of course her beauty. She is not snarky, and tries to appear as nice as possible, knowing it's tough when you reveal your hard side and stab a couple of your visitors because useful information.

Backstory: As a young girl she was exposed to many noble dances and balls, and attended many different ceremonies due to her father's relation to the Monarch, this exposure to fanciness and formal events gave her a unique ability to use words to her advantage. Showing signs of great nobility she was appraised by her parents, and her younger brother did not receive as much attention and was frequently bullied by her parents due to his rowdy nature. While she was spoiled by her parents she wasn't blind. All of the talking skills she earned was from careful listening, and she couldn't ignore the abuse her parents were causing her younger sibling. She felt lied to and betrayed. So she went along planning something. While her parents sent her brother to bed without food she snuck leftovers and left food from her plate to him, then she slowly talked her way to some reliable assassins to take out her father. On her brother's 13th birthday their father left to go to work and their mother to do everyday things. Alara was 17 and she had already gotten a small room at the local Pub for her and her brother to stay at. Their father never came home, and to some saddening news for Alara's mother he had been assassinated and there was no money in the bank he had kept. This left Alara's mother broke and soon she was kicked out of her house, and became a commoner, she was never heard of again by Alara who helped feed herself and her brother by helping the Assassin's guild gain information. Later she was approached by some Knights and a noble messenger saying she was eligible for Viscountess due to her Father's relation to the Monarch. Her words had been spread and one place or another she was rumored to be a noble, putting her in the position of Viscountess. Her brother soon chose to join the Navy and she now helps plot against the Monarchy. She is considered the number one intelligence position in Lynnes's Assassin Guild, and lives under the alias Elisa Lowrath.
Relatives: She has a brother in the Navy, and is a distant cousin of the Monarch.

Land Owned (Optional): A plot of land just north of Fenmouth. It has a small section of forest, and rolling hills.

Talents: She is good at understanding commoners, and she is quite adept with a bow.
Place of Residence: Fenmouth
Backstory: As soon as she took over the lands, she immediately made changes, adding her aviary and re-vising the stable. She added more, and better houses for the commoners who work for her. Although often called “Naive” for it, Ina is quite friendly with the locals of Fenmouth, especially those that work for her, and she knows them quite well.
Relatives: Her father was a baron, and she was granted the title of baroness after her father died with no other heirs, and her mother disappeared.

Age: 15, almost 16
Gender: Female
Appearance: Medium-length auburn hair that is usually pulled into a messy bun on informal occasions. Clover-green eyes, and rosy cheeks. She is short but lean and fair. She has a cute little button nose and is measurably tan. Considered to be very pretty when dressed nice.
Personality: Usually innocent, care-free, and curious, but has a tough warrior side when is needed.

Title: (Long-Lost) Princess
Land owned: She herself owns a VERY small section of land right of the castle, which she turned into a garden where she can paint.

Talents: She is a very talented artist who sells her art in art shows and puts art in competitions. She is also trained in combat for 3 years.
Place of Residence: She lives mainly in the castle with Duke(s) and Duchesse(s).

Backstory: ((Okay, I know the Monarch has no decided gender, so that causes some plotholes, but once we figure out the Monarch's gender we can find the gender of the commoner that was in the Navy, and we can fill most of the plotholes.)) Before the Monarch became the Monarch, they had affairs with a small commoner in the city Trundrow. The two had a little daughter they named Viridi because of her green eyes. Soon after, the Monarch left behind the commoner and Viridi and went off to fulfill their life as Monarch and never mentioned them to anyone again. About another year later, Viridi's mother/father that raised Viridi had to go fight in the Navy, since he/she was a Naval Captain. Viridi was put up for adoption at one year old and was brought from Trundrow to Lynnes. A couple, a doctor and a butcher, brought up Viridi the best they could. When Viridi was 10, her father/mother died on a mission for the Navy. After hearing the news, the couple who had taken in Viridi admitted to her she was adopted. After hearing this, she decided she would make it her life quest to discover her birth mother/father. She trained herself until age 13 in fighting techniques of soldiers. She then relocated to Trundrow to begin her search. She had explored almost all of Geringridge when she was walking near the castle. One of the guards looked at her strangely, for she looked so much like the Monarch it was unbelievable. I have a couple issues about tying this to plot before accepting you–

1) So we're assuming the Monarch is going to be somewhere around 30 years old, but that means they would have been around the age Viridi is now when they had her (meaning they wold unot have been Monarch yet, but instead a prince(ss))

2) She would probably not be able to go on to be the next monarch or duchess because she is an illegitimate child. If that's fine, ignore this point. That may help you open up a university instead of being bogged down by royal duties

About another year later, Viridi's mother/father that raised Viridi had to go fight in the Navy, since he/she was a Naval Captain. Viridi was put up for adoption at one year old and was brought from Trundrow to Lynnes. A couple, a doctor and a butcher, brought up Viridi the best they could. Teen marriages were not uncommon in the Middle Ages. Often the age of adulthood was 16, so if Viridi was 12 or 13 it should be fine. On the illegitimacy, that certainly complicates things. Others, specifically royals, would not have a very high opinion, her being a b*st*rd. So her living with the Dukes and Duchesses isn't too plausible. Alf would probably be fine with it though.

So the first issue is less about age and more about if the previous monarch would have passed away yet. So, it would be more plausible (when getting down to the details) to have had the Monarch be a prince(ss) at the time.

Because of line purity standards, it'd be difficult to give her a position when she is older, but I doubt she'd be outcast by the inner royal family

Hi! I've decided we should look at the points or alter the backstory a little bit if it gets to complicated.Looking at the main problem, (if the previous monarch would have passed away yet) we could be able to he/she did, if we decided she could have died younger of illness. Also, the second point of her never having a higher role, I don't mind too much, because like you said it gives more of a chance for the university.
Another thing is, this whole ordeal could be very complicated later on, so we could alter most of the backstory altogether? Maybe Viridi could have been the Monarch's niece, and was taken in as a princess after the disappearance of said sibling of the Monarch. Either way, Virdi is very complicated character that I bet will be very interesting in the RPs, thanks for accepting her.

Well I think it's perfectly reasonable that the current monarch could have had Viridi previous to her role as a Monarch. It would probably be more believable than not because there would be little time for fooling around after ascending to the throne. The time of birth would not affect legitimacy as at least a child of the Monarch, not matter who it was with.
