Scratch 3.0
I got extensions to work!

More Here.
It's a pretty different format from the 2.0 format, and currently you have to modify the code of Scratch 3 to do it, but they do work, which is nice.
Try it out! Once you have created your extension file, modify this file and add your URL to get it to work.
The example extension file can be found here.

The Scratch 3.0 Alpha should go somewhere like alpha.scratch.mit.edu, similar to how the Scratch 2.0 Beta was on beta.scratch.mit.edu. Maybe when you reach beta, you could reuse that address?Sounds like a good idea to me.
Sounds like a good idea to us as well! We just updated the link for testing out the Scratch 3.0 Preview to https://preview.scratch.mit.edu
I hope that will be easier to remember.

Is that the more stable or /develop version? https://preview.scratch.mit.edu/develop/ gives a 403 error. The Scratch 3.0 Alpha should go somewhere like alpha.scratch.mit.edu, similar to how the Scratch 2.0 Beta was on beta.scratch.mit.edu. This is the more stable version. You can still get to the less stable “develop” version at the old link:

More concept art regarding adding sprites/costumes/sounds. They're bringing back the “surprise” option!
