Does scratch auto save when you are making a project?

What I mean is when you are in editor mode does scratch auto save or do you have to go out of the editor?? cause I was working on a project had to go out temporarily and then I went back in, said it saved, but then while I was working my computer died and I lost 1 hours progress of scripting and art. Sooooooooooooooooooooo…………………… yea…

Scratch should usually save by itself. But oftenly bugs out at times, leaving the project unsaved.

You can always manually save your project by clicking the “Save now”. Even if it says Saved, click it again before leaving or if you're in an unstable situation (weak internet, scheduled restart, etc.). It's usually a good habit to have.

Most of the time, yes, it does save by itself (a.k.a auto-save) but sometimes it just doesn't want to save, and you will have to manually save it. But that isn't always the case.

It only autosaves when you have a stable internet connection and you are working on the project. If you let a project sit idle then you run the risk of timing out and getting disconnected and not getting saved when you start working again.

If you are going to leave the room, close the project.
