As some of you know the Tide Pod meme as being a favourite food, just like bleach, but the fact is some kids were dumb enough to actually eat a detergent, and it ended in death for 8 of them. Especially when on this side there are kids of ages 7-10.
I think obviously Scratch Team doesn't want to see a news article “Kid eats a laundry detergent because he saw it on a educational website” like due to one youtuber's videos a kid nearly died because he imitated characters.

I'm actually kind of disgusted that people are making a joke of this. What a disgrace, this challenge can literally kill you if you take in those chemicals.

I guess you could argue that it could be marked NFE. These kinds of memes play off of dark humor, and it isn't a crime to use dark humor in things. However, this site, who has a target audience of children, shouldn't allow dark humor content to exist freely on here. It should either be monitored heavily, or be erased from the public.

I think it shouldn't be allowed, as opposed to other unrealistic projects this thing is actually a craze with real-life products and could cause problems

but these projects or jokes are though realistic, like a tide pod being a “forbidden fruit”.

They should be banned! The fact that people are even doing the challenge proves how screwed up todays youth are. Why would you risk your life just to be cool or become famous on instagram? I don't get it! 100% support!!!!

Alright, time for a differing opinionFirst off, its not a challenge, its a dumb meme just like the bleach one, its not saying “if you eat a tide pod you are cool person”. I personally think the meme is fine, i know when i was 3 my parents told me not to eat cleaning supplies or i could die. Every parent should tell their child not to eat cleaning supplies. That being said, i do think projects that include tide or bleach memes should receive an NFE rating.

. Really? The project is allowed so it is invalid to be reported. This is a suggestion to make it reportable and unallowed. Or just marked NFE.

in my personal opinion, if you are old enough to read, and understand things, and have access to the internet, your parents or somebody else should have told you that doing things like drinking bleach or eating cleaning supplies is bad.
