I don't see how the stuff I put in here would fit in Sigton's post. His post is about How to reply to and make suggestions and mine is about what you shouldn't post.
“Make suggestions” is another way of saying what you should/shouldn't post. If you take a look and read that entire guide, or at least half of it, you can clearly see that both of your guides are indeed very similar, so I don't see why it is impossible to collaborate and work together to produce one huge and efficient guide.

I think you're looking for pride. You spent time working on this and I think you want your name branded on it. If this is the case, couldn't you ask Sigton to give you credit. It can be in huge, bold letters at the very top of the page! And if he doesn't want to associate himself with that stickied guide anymore, he can always hand it off to you if he wishes to do so!

I'm not looking for pride. If you think my post is too similar, ask Sigton. Like I've said, I've edited this multiple times to make sure it wasn't too similar to Sigton's post. This is not Sigton's post. I never wanted it to be like Sigton's post. And I've spent a good, long time making this post and you think I should just throw it out or give it to Sigton without credit.

Bump.
Please only bump 24 hours after the last post. You posted it 18. Also, most of the things you shouldn't do on here is just basic spam. Please shorten it and make it more useful. I also agree with G—H. This is a decent guide, but it seems like you just want a sticky. Please look at makethebrainhappy's guide for making a sticky.

For the last time, I don't want this stickied.

Well then what was the point? Constantly bump it? There isn't really a point in making a thread that you just want to go down in the forums. Why work on something like this if you know it's just going to go down in the forums and get lost and accept that? It seems like this might just be a practice, in which case you should make a thread that is for practice threads and label it that. That actually is a useful thread, I might make that. Otherwise, it might just be entirely pointless and just be to help a handful of Scratchers that probably aren't going to really listen to it and just assume it means don't be annoying. And please stop “flagging” suggestions. For example, you said “If you feel a project is innapropriate, please report it or click Contact Us”. That's annoying when someone does something like that, and I feel it is spammy and disrespectful

Getting this iTopiced would be great, but getting it stickied would just get the stickies all crammed. I usually bump this when I see one of the topics mentioned here.

I'm telling you that you can add this new content to Sigton's post and receive credit for it. If I'm being totally honest, people don't really pay attention to the creator, but rather they click on to read what you have to say. Although, you can easily receive credit for it, and if he were to add your content to his post without giving you any credit, then he would be committing an act of plagiarism, which is completely unacceptable and that point you could get help from the ST to resolve that issue. So you can take credit no matter what route you take.

I'm going to be blatantly honest here. These kinds of topics can either be stickied or not exist at all. It's clear that the ST will not sticky this since this has existed for awhile. Now let me make something clear, I know that you don't want this stickied. I have no idea what an iTopic is, it sounds like some cheap Apple product lol, and if you could explain what that is to me and why this should be “iTopiced” then that would be grand. But the truth is, posts like these don't belong in the suggestions forum. You may have a differing opinion, but the suggestions forums should only have topics relating to actual suggestions. The only exception to that philosophy is stickied topics, which are posts that communicate the rules of the forum. Since this is one of those posts that isn't stickied, there truly isn't a reason to even have a topic like this. That is why it would be best for you to collaborate with Sigton and create a morphed version of both of your posts.

This is a guide. Guides belong in every forum, and they don't oppose the rules.

You aren't breaking rules, you are correct. But as ScriptedAwesome said, the only posts here now are ones that are telling you to merge this with Sigton's, people telling you that this won't be stickied, and you bumping it. If you want to go your own way, then fine; clearly I'm not able to sway you. But this guide is already losing its worth, it's hardly even on the front page anymore. You had 3 pages of fun but now you're getting less clicks, and this topic is slowly reaching its death.

You do you, but consider your options, they may be better than you think.

I asked Sigton about this on his profile, I'm currently awaiting his response. If he says “merge it with mine” THEN I'll merge it with his. If he doesn't care, I'm leaving this as it is.

You can always investigate other stickies if he says no and decide if it would be a good idea to merge your suggestions with their's if he declines.
