My horror game, called “escape the town” would be a game where you wake up in an abandoned town and you have to escape, but the entire city is on lock-down in order to stop a dangerous disease from spreading. The disease is gone, but so is everybody else…besides a psychopath out there to kill you. In order to open the large doors to the city you have to hack some amount of laptops, which are spread out around the city. You only have some time before the disease gets you too.

Anybody have any ideas for this aswell? I'll be sure to link this in the credits!

Here are some ideas:
-In some home in the town there would be notes in the houses that contain passwords for the laptops that you need in order to hack the laptops.
-The town will be divided into sectors and each one will have one psychopath will spawn in them, each sector and the psychopath in them will be unique. To balance out there being more than one psychopath, there will be many ways to kill them. e.g. exposing them to the disease, crushing them between the large doors.
-You will get infected after a certain amount of time, but it won't kill you instantly, and if you consume an antidote (which can be found around the town) the disease will leave, but you can still get infected again. If you leave the town whilst infected a message will pop-up saying “You run far away from the town, when you are found by some people out side the town, they find that you have the disease and you are quarantined. YOU LOSE”

You don't use to use all my ideas if you want just one or two or don't want to use any of my ideas at all, you can, just use the ones that you think will be best for your game.

You should definitely use this idea, but another idea I have is that as you hack more of the computers, more psycho's will spawn, also, there may be some animals about that have the disease, and if they bite you, you'll get the disease, but you can give them the antidote, and as long as they don't have the disease, they'll help you
