Scratch cat's color?

None of the color swatches quite match the Scratch cat's color, and when I try to use the eyedropper on him it gives me white. How do I get that specific orange color?

You have to use the eye dropper directly over the orange on the Scratch Cat. Or are you doing that and it only gives you white?

Maybe it's not calibrated right. Make sure your zoom is at 100% or it will be hard to use the editor.

Are you clicking the Scratch Cat on the screen of the player, while editing a different sprite?
Or are you clicking the Scratch Cat while that specific sprite is open in the costume editor?

I am using the pick color tool (the little eyedropper), zoom at 100%, clicking directly on the orange, but it only gives me white.

Is your web browser zoomed in over 100%. I have had issues with some things when my browser itself is zoomed over 100%. Just a shot in the dark here.

So, when you are clicking the Scratch Cat sprite, it is open in the sprite editor?

it's because there is a shape over the orange with an empty fill and only an outline. This happens to me all the time
