I followed the book of Al Sweigart , Scratch Programming Playground, tried to make the script for the sprite that plays basketball. The script looks exactly the same as in the book. The sprite should move, when I press the arrow key (arrow up), but there is no reaction. Choosing another key did not help. The keys are functioning well, when I use them to write in other programs (note-pad). It would be fantastic if someone can imagine what is wrong. Thank you! errolgarner

Is there a Move (Steps) in it?

Sometimes I have to click on the part of the screen that the sprites are in before I can use the keys to control a project. Try that.
