Make a .png file of a costume

Can we make a feature where you can download a backdrop/sprite costume as a png/jpg file?

Ok, let's just say that you wanted to upload that costume to Roblox so you can make a shirt, but it's very hard, so you can use that feature to easily download it without having to take the whole background image and upload to Roblox

Please Support this idea, even if you don't see any need for this, there is actually need for this!

Convert the costume to bitmap if it isn't already, right click on the costume, and select “save to local file.” You can then choose where you want the costume to be downloaded

Bitmap costumes/backdrops are png, so you don't have to convert anything

Well, some Scratchers use vector (like me) and I like it when it's in vector.

so if you want to do this in vector then use this feature without having to use bitmap

Duplicate (right click > duplicate) the vector costume and convert the duplicate to bitmap (so you have a vector backup). After downloading it, you can delete the bitmap version.

If you want to download the vector version and keep it vector (so you can upload it to other projects, for example), you can use the same process above without converting the costume to bitmap, but that won't give you a .png.

No support.

I'm not sure how easy this would be to implement for Vector users and it's not really necessary to Scratch and the community. It certainly isn't useful to Scratch's main goal - to learn programming in a simple manner. It wouldn't be used barely at all because there aren't many reasons to need a png. file, and there are simple ways to save the ST the headache. Things like websites designed to change files to png. exist and are incredibly easy to use. And don't use the excuse that it's too complex or whatever because it takes the same amount of know-how as adding a picture to a post (finding a photo uploader site, then putting the URL into Scratch, etc. It's the same amount of effort.).

Are YOU or someone you know an underrated animator/artist that wants some RECOGNITION?

Bitmap costumes are already stored in the servers as PNG's, so there's no need to convert.

I knew that, I was just talking about Vector. Vector isn't saved as PNG.

Vector costumes can be easily converted to PNG, though.
