Every time I click off the page or switch a tab, the online Scratch editor will literally just freeze. I use Linux, but this has also happened when I used windows.

I can click on the save button and the project will save, but the page would still be frozen. (I know this because I've done it before and it saves fine)

This has been really annoying and unmotivating - I hate having to refresh the page and wait for my project to load every time the editor freezes.

Bump.

You have a poor powered(in graphics at least) device, flash player needs a lot of resources(RAM, CPU) to run smoothly without glitching.

Pretty sure this has happened on my other computer, which is extremely powerful.

Not happening to me.

I have this glitch, there is no permanent fix, for a temporary fix click the Help (?) button on the far right of the editor. You'll need to do that every time it freezes

This happens to me all the time. What I do to fix it is drag the tab as if to make a new window, and then put it back with the other tabs

I have this glitch. I've found that to make it happen less, you should make sure no scripts are running and you're not typing in any blocks or in the middle of a “Clean Up” press. Exiting out at these times usually seem to freeze the editor. To make sure nothing is lost, save every time before you go off the page. I know the issue well; I've been making a note block project using online sheet music. Guess how well that's going -.-

You can still save when Scratch freezes in the editor.
