Ah, Webkinz is pretty much out of date. People are now preferring casual quick-to-play mobile games over Flash games with virtual pets. That's how Club Penguin fell down. Animal Jam is very active still, but it's due to merchandising.

Desktops will always be here. They will always be much faster and reliable, since they are just the right size, and are great for gaming. Laptops are also extremely hard to add new hardware to/repair/expand, especially the GPU. We don't want a world where only the manufacturer can choose what's on your laptop or not, do we? I only use laptops (Macbook Air) for when I'm not at home.

While this might be the majority of the population, serious computers users, animators, movie studios, and gamers need to use desktops, due to the reliability and speed. Laptops are also easy to steal and resell, if you have a used laptop that you bought, you never know if it was stolen or not.

Ah, true. It is an educational site. Me and my friend used to think that we were some of the only people who still do Webkinz XD
