um well

the map i posted needs to be the hometown for 3 reasons:
1) it has a lab
2) it only has one exit by land
3) it doesn't have pokecenters or pokemarts

So ideas for the next town:
I think to add variation, let's put like the 3rd gym there.
Perhaps a training tower (or some other structure) similar to Sprout tower (but more interesting)

Not a lot is happening on BitmapProductions' side, and it looks all doom and gloom here, so I'll try and cheer stuff up.

I'd like to see if I can join this project in the Pokemon Design side and some of the programming. I currently work for BitmapProducitons as a bug tester, enemy and boss designer and general programmer, I create a few (not very good) games myself, and I enjoy making evolutionary AI. (AI that randomly chooses new stats/behaviours and changes its base stats/behaviours accordingly) I also use my ideas for personal projects, like two personal regions that I'm making by myself, although the first region is currently abandoned. I will happily design any new pokemon for you and/or redesign old Pokemon, although I cannot sprite, so appearance will be conveyed through description.

Some projects I have worked on that I am proud of are JamesOuO's UFO Defence, which does not show much on the outside, but inside has evolutionary AI working constantly to make the enemies grow stronger, and Diamonds, which was made by PullJosh, but I added a new enemy type, fixed a few bugs, and composed music for. (oh by the way I can do that too if you want)

Although I hardly ever post projects, I am online every day, and if you look at any comment asking JamesOuO to follow him or what not you can see that that is true. I am currently programming one secret project that IS related to Pokemon, and although its basis would be very useful for this project, I cannot give it out until the official project has been released on BitmapProductions, and a large platformer, which is a dual collaboration between me and JamesOuO.

I hope you consider me for a place in this project, as although progress seems to be rather slow, I can see things quickly speeding up once we get some overworld coding and a battle sequence completed.

That kind of idea is actually why there was two exits from my concept. The way you go first would lead in a three town loop back to the start town where the second/third gym is.

You seem pretty well versed in English, and you have quite good achievements, so I think your a good candidate to join. Welcome to the collab!

I'm currently redesigning some of the Pokemon, as while I like their concepts, especially Cumulance, they seem to resemblant of someone just mashing together a few Pokemon sprites, recolouring them, and calling it a sprite. I'll also get base-stats done while I'm at it.

However, because of the website being frozen, I cannot find most sprites, spare Sparet and Cumulance. Does anyone else have access to the sprites?

I would use a fakemon like kangascon do we have one of those?

What we decided on doing was that we were going to used ‘spliced’ pokemon. They are not fully fakemon, they are a bunch of parts mashed up together. Your welcome to redesign them.
