Aye, but when recording or editing a sound. Maybe Scratch Blocks could be outside the usual scripts area to assist in editing. cough?

No support for pitch… you could put a
set pitch to (50000)
forever
play sound [very loud beep v]
end

Support. I'd love to use it in music arrangements. @-Hologram

I know what you mean, putting sound shifters into the scratch editor, but couldn't you just do the same in audacity? Plus, it has more features.
Well its something you have to download so it would be easier if all of Audacity's features were also scratch features.
No support for that. Scratch is for programming, not for sound editing.
I agree. It wouldn't make sense for Audacity to suddenly become a subset of Scratch.

Scratch 3.0 has this! To change pitch, use pitch sound effects.
You can also directly change the sound via “faster(increase pitch) / slower(decrease pitch)” button

Wouldn't the sound then get outside of the hearing range?

Support. They SHOULD add more effects to it, anyway. But maybe they should also add blocks to use these effects. It's kind of confusing to get to the sound editor anyways.
I want to make a evil voice but it changes the speed and messes it up. I do not wanna have to be forced to use audacity for everything.,
