A Beginners Guide to Making a Shop

So how to shop get to where they are? How do shops like Sigton's Shop get to where they are now? Well it does not all come in minutes.
A Guide to Making a Successful Shop
So what you first need to know is your shop will not gain popularity in the first few days. Sometimes it can take months to get popularity. So now for five simple steps to creating a successful shop!
1. First of all you need to choose what you are going to sell. Weather it is just logos like Black Hole Logos or practically everything like the Scratch Convenience Shop it is up to you. I would recommend doing as much as you can.

2. Choosing your shops name. Sometimes it can be overwelming to choose a shop name but it is actullay very simple I can tell you how. If you aren't very good at choosing names you could always have something like shop, so an example (this is not a real shop) _Lillion_'s Voice Acting Shop. Pretty simple but effective.

3. Choose your setup. So this step is pretty simple if you are well aware of how to use BBCode. (If you do not know how to use BBCode look down at the bottom of this post and you will find a guide.)

3. (part 1) So how will your home page be set up? This is a vital part of your shop. If your homepage is not set up well you are unlikely to get many employees/volunteers or orders. So how I like to do things is have everthing in the middle it just look nicer. You will learn how to center things in the BBCode guide. But you don't have to have it centered. Also for the home page simple shop rules and punishments. Now when I say punishments do not go over the top like reporting them or permanently banning them from your shop. For some rules I would recommend no spamming, do not go out of your ranks powers and no faking orders and things like that. So for punishments I would say giving them a warning first before giving them a punishment. Some ideas are, fireing them (if they are an employee) or asking them nicely to not order from your shop for a specific amount of time depending on what they have done (if they are a visitor). (If you do not want to setup your own home page there will be a stock standed one at the end of this post.)

3. (part 2) Are you going to have different parts of your shop? So it is up to you but most shop have a menu where you are click a link and you will go to say the employees. If you do that you will need to create a reply with a title in big letters (how to do that will be in BBCode guide) and possibly centered. Also maybe you could colour it like the title to this guide. But you may decide I want everything to be on my homepage. So what you do is have lots of titles with there area you want. (Example at the end of post.)

4. Creating your banner. So to make your banner you need to find a program you want to use. I use Sketch.io, Adobe Photoshop or just word to make mine. Your banner should include, your shops name, you coloour scheem (more about below) and maybe your motto but not all have their motto. Once you have done that upload it to a image hosting place and you have made your own banner! But maybe you don't want to make your own. You could always order one from a shop. Make sure you are as detailed as possible and use their order form.

5. Your order forms. Every shop has order forms so it is easier for them to full fill your request. To make it easier for you to under stand I will put an example of one later. An art order form should include: Username, colours, what is it?, preferd scratcher and deadline. Also just remember say a scripts one would be different as well.

Congratulations! You have just completed my guide to making a shop! Any further questions? Just add a reply here or comment on my profile.

Nice guide! At the end you talk about bbcode, I would recommend keeping the topic on the same subject and just linking the bbcode help topic instead of adding your own bbcode guide here.
