So, you know how if your WiFi dies out in the middle of making a Scratch project, instead of saying “Saving…” when the project is saving, it will say:
“Changes not saved; network not connecting. Trying again in ___…”?
Well, suddenly, it's sometimes(and by sometimes, I mean often) saying this message, when I DO have WiFi.
Could somebody explain this to me?
My browser / operating system: ChromeOS 9592.96.0, Chrome 60.0.3112.114, Flash 27.0 (release 0)

This did happen to me today, but then it kept fixing the error and then it popped up again. The error only popped up like 5 times.
I think it happens becuase the Scratch Team could be losing connection to this website, or checking something on this website. There could be more reasons, but that's just what I think. Does this help a little?

Is your network slow? This might pop up if your network is slow.

My network's pretty fast, so I don't really understand why that's happening. I know you're more prone to it if your network is slow, but mine's fine(my dad recently rebooted it).

My network is finer and very fats, and I am on a new Mac, and I have had the same issue for the past few days. I do think it is a problem on scratch's end. What generally works for me is I'll turn off wifi on my computer, then turn it back on and tell it to save. generally then it will save.

And it is a problem on all three of my accounts and on all their projects.

I have the same issue,my internet is good,and the bar of saving goes on until the end,when it's about to finish, the error pops up.I have tried uploading the same project many times in many days,still can't upload it.
PD:this is a bigger project,20 mb,but when i tried to upload a project that i made in 3 hours it works.Idk what's happening.

This happens with me too, an easy fix is just to reload the page. It feels like the Scratch editor goes stale after working for a while.

It happen to mind too. I work on it for two day. It made me mad I delete it.

It's happening to me today too. Reloading the page does not work. This is pretty annoying because I have a homework deadline tomorrow. Has anybody worked out how to fix this??

I am having the same issue. Trying to upload new sprite that I have saved to my local hard drives. Get the “changes not saved; network not connecting” error each time. Reloading the page doesn't work. Tried signing out and signing back in, then rebooting my computer. No luck. Works fine in offline editor.

I've done that, tried re-establishing the internet connection, logging into Scratch again, and restarting my computer. I'm pretty sure it isn't a temporary editor freeze; it seems more like an update (with a glitch) that needs to be fixed.

The same problem is happening to me, I can search anything on my computer and browse scratch projects but it wont let me create or save a project. I tried everything from rebooting my computer to re-logging in to my scratch account. I hope that it gets fixed soon

Yeah. I've seen other people say that this issue happens when they're on Windows; I'm on Chrome myself so I know it happens there. I don't think it's a computer model issue.

I'm also experiencing this issue but it should be fixed soon by the scratch team

It's the server side. They probably can't save it because of server issues, all we can do is wait
