Hey scratch team, I was wondering if you could change the custom blocks to where you can add sections in between other sections because currently whenever you add a section it goes straight to the end of the block which makes it hard to add modifications to the custom block, so if you could change that I would really appreciate it. Thanks!

You just said the exact same thing; I'm still confused.

You know when you have a custom block it is made of sections, right?
Well when you go back to edit the block and you want to add another section in between it doesn't work, it just goes to the end of your block.
What I am saying is that we need to be able to add sections in between other sections instead of them just going to the end.
I hope you understand.

Actually, I don't know what “sections” you're referring to.

if i'm understanding this correctly, you're saying that if you wanted to add to this:

define (a)(c)

it would show up as this:

define (a)(c)(b)

but you want it to be able to show up as this:

define (a)(b)(c)

so basically on a custom block, you can add a new input in between other inputs?

The part the block is made of.

When you open the “Create Custom Block” menu it gives you some options:

Create text section.
Create number section.
Create string section.
Create boolean section.

These are the sections I am referring to.

personally i doubt i'd ever use it because i don't mess with custom blocks much, but i suppose if you had a custom block with many, many ‘sections’ or whatever they're called, it could be useful so support

I have had custom blocks with lots of sections and when I was making the projects with those blocks this would have been VERY helpful, It took quite a bit longer to build onto the project without it.

Not necessary, unless you made a custom block with a lot of inputs and you need them to be in a certain order.

Which is exactly why I want them.

It would be easier if you could add the input where you wanted it, or move the input after adding it. Like how you can select some text in a sentence, when editing a comment, and move it to a new place in the sentence. And put the cursor in the sentence where you want to type text.
