Scratch 1.4 Mod - Request

I have a great idea for a mod but my knowledge of Squeak (or rather, my lack thereof) is quite the obstacle for me to do this.

Here's the idea: Someone makes a Scratch 1.4 mod that adds Procedures, nesting, and a few extra blocks if they want to (or they could just mod the latest version of BYOB), and add in cloning, and change some terminology (i.e., Change background to backdrop and add the respective blocks).

If you're not getting what I'm getting at, it's basically a 1.4 mod that adds 2.0 features for offline goodness.

Just before you posted this I had tried to make something like this with my (lack of) knowledge of squeak so I could make scratch projects with cloning, custom blocks, etc. in the 1.4 editor that could be opened in 2.0. I failed.
