I have only gotten the 512th tile but I have only started playing this morning. Its on the app stores and is available here online: gabrielecirulli.github.io/2048/
It is not fun at first but once you get the hang of it its amazing.

its a good game, but it gets boring after a while

In a normal round, I can get up to 256.

On very rare occasions, I can get 512.

It's addictive! My highscore is 11464. I can usually get the 256 tile, often the 512, and i got the 1024 a couple times.

My high is only 256 :c

If you like 2048, I highly recommend buying Threes, the game 2048 was based on (some would say they ripped it off). Threes is a much more refined,long-term game that is considerably more fun than 2048. Also, it's on sale right now.

Threes is way more fun imo. I played 2048 and got to 1024 by pressing up-right-down-left.

I agree. Not only is 2048 a rip-off of Threes, it was obviously made with money in mind, not good, lasting gameplay.

How the heck is Flappy Bird a rip-off of Angry Birds? The only similarity whatsoever is that both games have birds.

how was it made with money in mind if it was released free on a web page and the developer stated it was made to see if they could make a game in the browser
